yesterday - I found out I might be able to go...

so if I can find: tickets (both plane and show) and a hotel room

I'm going both days...taking my 14-year old niece to her first concert on day 1...drinking and drinking and drinking with my friends on day 2 :)

oh, also...the Coachella movie is highly recommended viewing. The DVD is on sale now and is a good way to experience the festival if you aren't going to make it this year (or even if you are)

Aww. What a cool uncle you are. My sister and I discussed taking my 13 year old sister to Coachella, but she's still too young. I can't imagine how she'd react to going to her first concert and witnessing people smoking pot, others tripping, others nearly effing on the Polo fields.

This is my 6th year going, and I was set on cancelling this year, until I saw the Coachella movie... five minutes into it, and I texted my sister, "i've slept in a car before to go to Coachella, I would do it again."

me too, will be my sixth year. and I wasn't going to go this year, made up my mind and then saw the movie a few days later with one of the guys I always go with. needless to say, by the end of the movie I'd changed my mind and decided to go. and then Daft Punk, Massive ASttack, and Madonna were added to the bill!!
