and there are more...

I'm too lazy to look up the dates now but those are the versions i have (somewhere on my disc...) And they are all great. Twist is so much better than the album version when Karl adds his improvised guitar!:)

Twist is a lush little piece.

I like Twist. Im surprised to see Mo Move not drawing the attention of the voters.

So am I. Ditto what people have said about Twist live vs. album, though.

That'd be damn funny to see Mo Move win. Guess its all about first impressions then... Juanita, Cups, then Mo Move........

But I'm bankin on Luetin. That track is teh awesome.

Bye Luetin.

*puts raincoat on to protect against onslaught of tomatoes*

Serious though. What do you all see in that track? It's slow, sounds WAY dated (it sounds like the theme song to a European game show, circa 1990), Karl's vox are mixed flat and aren't his best effort... why you crackheads like it so much is beyond me.

i think after twist says goodbye everyone is going to notice momove really quickly and we'll finally have a battle worth fighting between TMO and luetin.

luetin will, of course, win because it's in the top ten of all the tracks they did.

dear hal,
unassuming beeps played throughout while the tracks starts with the sexiest beats just muffled enough to lurk under your skin that undulates its way to befoming a full-blooded rhythm monster that just keeps getting brighter and reaching higher as time goes and layers are introduced is not something that would be played on an early 90s game show.

Hmm, well, i'm not too surprised that DA3d is leaving, as the track has always seemed like a retread of King of Snake (at least to me;) ) and it doesn't change much throughout. Love the vocals and the beat, but it's not their best.

But really, is TMO a contender for it all? it's a great single, yes, and has a lot of fine elements (like the cowbell outtro, the Juanita speech, uplifting pads)? I think that MoMove and Luetin are more characteristic of the "feel" of the album, the dense rhythms they were using at the time, the rolling basslines and darkish lyrics that we know and love... That said, i think Luetin will win it all.
