It's a great song, but nothing can ever diminish the electronic masterpiece that Jumbo is. Definately a top 5 UW track for me.

In my opinion, these are the two best songs on the album. Of the two, however, I would say that "Cups" is better. It's really the only song on Beaucoup Fish that I think equals the best parts of their first two albums in terms of creativity and atmosphere. It's also probably the only post-1996 song that I would consider putting in my top ten Underworld tracks. The short violin intro is awesome, then that simple eighties-house style beat comes in, the distortion on the vocals is interesting, the lyrics (the real weak point of this album) have some cool imagery, and of course, it totally kicks ass in the end.

That's funny my malted friend, when I think of Jumbo I think of a song that when I first heard it I felt that it was the most different from their prior catalog, but I loved it so much that it became an essential part of my UW collection.

It's terrible having to choose between these two, they're both so good, and my opinion on the matter is likely to be one of those things that changes from day to day. But today cups has to stay, sorry jumbo. :(

well, Jumbo was friggin amazing when i first heard it. i have to go on that principle alone. if Kittens and KoS are out, then i gotta go with Jumbo.

eagerly anticipating AHDO's poll. Sola Sistim, TMO, Luetin, Twist are all great tracks.

Wow, after 62 votes we have a tie. Impressive.

I don't know when the poll officially closes but I have a succinct feeling that if another 62 people voted it'd still be 50/50 or really close. In the end we're talking about two of UW's greatest tracks; maybe they both deserve to win...??

A fitting ending. A clear winner, with a 2nd place finisher that would have these forums arguing for ages. And that's how it should be -- BF yielded two of UW's finest works and they should be honored equally, even if Cups had one more vote.

Well done everyone. I've not voted in sync with any of the others but I feel good about this one.
