and i like Skym. but this round, Bruce Lee must be voted off. why do i dislike this song? it's repetitive, annoying, and doesn't fit very well.

Dubnobass... and STIT were easier to pick through, or at least it seemed like there was more agreement amongst the board. This album has shown some pretty diverse opinions.

i'm guessing "Shudder" on the poll also includes King of Snake, right? Cos if i can just vote for Shudder, it gets my vote;)

Winjer is probably the best song on this album, after Jumbo... it'll be tough to see it go.

I like all of the weird tracks. Surfboy and River Of Bass are my two faves on DUBNO, STITI was pretty easy but I also like all of the non-obvious tracks on BF too. AHDO is going to be another one of those polls I'll be cringing to from start to finish.

I voted Bruce Lee but I wish I could retract my vote and vote for either Push Upstairs or KoS. To me those songs are too "by the numbers" and UW's 4/floor tracks aren't what I've grown to appreciate about them, I prefer their more experiemental side.

winjer had a rad beat arrangement. it seemed to flub all else though. it sounds watery and unformed. bah.
i'd pick that over skym any day.
if bruce lee gets killed before something like a mama, i'll eat my hat.

after those three i'm hoping jumbo goes.

i really hope jumbo isn't voted the top track.

Bryan you just need to let people know that Shudder is not just the Shudder part of the track....or else we'll lose King Of Snake...which at this stage would be a travesty

it should i hope read Shudder/King of Snake...and hence should be voyed for as such...if you hat KOS sure vote it off, but its one track and not two....

yeah, but before i labelled it as 'king of snake' w/o shudder. shudder is just the alternate name for the song. that's why i didn't list king of snake and shudder as seperate tracks on this poll. they're one in the same.

It bears no ressemblance to the original sample whatsoever, especially in most live versions (and I have just been listening to the opener on Exit, for example.)

Bryant: I don't think Shudder is an alternate name for KoS - I think it is, rather, the japanese-sounding piece just before it.

And I REALLY... SERIOUSLY can't understand why Winjer is hated so much.. I mean, I'm really good at accepting and respecting someone else's taste or opinion, but... HOW can you hate Winjer :confused:

You know, the few times the boys played "Something Like a Mama" live, it sounded absolutely wicked, just so hard and relentless bassline, and of course the "ah!" "Nice!" samples drive 'em wild. but on the album, it sounds really kinda sleepy, imho.

"Cups" is my fave, but it's got sticff competition with the likes of Moaner, KoS, Push, and Jumbo

in my ears, 'moaner' always sounds like it's trying just a bit too hard, and doesn't feel like as much a part of the whole as its co-tracks...

not saying it's bad; just slightly out of context...

I voted for 'Bruce Lee'. I never got why they put it out as a single. 'Bruce Lee' should have been a B-Side for one of the singles on 'Beaucoup Fish'.
