Next RRP edition
 

So keep with the schedule of every second Wednesday of each month UW releases something... I heard rumours of this being more TECH(know)...

I really hope they release the first track of HMH 2005 gig as the first track, it is SOOOOOOO beautiful. My girlfriend who is not a UW fan has fallen in love with it too.

i have been and am still away from my computer for some time (4 months), so i have been unable to get any of these gigs so i have no idea what that opening is, but even crappier is that i haven't heard the new uw material yet, i am going to get it the very day i get home to my computer...

Also, in addition to the supposed techno nature of the next release, the word is it's supposedly more "chilled":

Anyone have any "underground" info on when the next RRP release is set to hit? We've gone almost a month and a half without a new release...;)

potatobroth: this statement was made in the pizza for eggs thread in response to the same question, if you'd bothered to read it. read between the lines and you'll take it as it will take at least a week before work can begin on releasing the 3rd riverrun. if you dont read between the lines then all you have is aNt with a massive hangover (which happens quite a lot so i've heard ;))

is it just me or can anyone else agree that aNt can often be the most 'unreliable' reliable source? stimpee, as a mod, would you care to comment on this one?

um, i did 'bother to read it' and i didnt see his hangover comment as anything more than, 'its not ready yet' which clearly we ALL know because well, its not up for sale. aNt has also said that the tomato website 'will be done within the week' :P

If history tells us, UWlive puts up free stuff in the archive first and after a week or two they put up a riverrun.
We've got the next additions to the archive, as of today, so the third riverrun should be out, I would expect, the first week of February.
I don't know any inside info, I'm just going on how UW has done things in the past.

I don't think they'll consistently release anything. I think they are sadistic and like to make us think they are going to release something soon. I think they get pleasure out of the buildup. I'm just a pessimist. :)

You guys are talking about "you do scribble", right? Definetely my favorite 'new' UW track, although it sounds way more epic than anything on the first two RRPs, so I think that they're saving this one for their next album...of course, the other stuff they released live ended up on RRP too...

Do You Scribble? isnt the track we are speaking of. its the that opens the HMH show with lyrics, "...take the pressure from my head. blackout from the station gonna watch it slide instead. two eyes on the waistband, one pair of battered feet. is this perfection, is it time for us to meeeeet-eeee-uh-eeet... oooh-uh-oohhhhh" (my best guess at the lyrics)

this opening track is amazing.

Checking Underworldlive.com today, the post today hints at RRP 3 being worked on maybe/possibly/hopefully.....

definitely amazing. I've shown the track to a few of my friends who aren't really into UW, and they were floored by it. Great stuff, I hope to see it on an album :)

As per today, whatever it is is definitely beyond the soundtrack...

I'm guessing prep for RRP as they've said that they will be releasing things for download for at least the next year. :)

My guess is this Wednesday, 8 February...

This is keeping with the second Wednesday of
the month deal, which they did for the the previous
releases.

We can hope!



ALSO:

Since they just up'ed two more live downloads (instead of the usual 4)

'you do scribble' i believe will be released VERY soon since they most
likely want to realse an official version before they send out
a live version... just because this track is so BANGING.

hmmm... maybe the further proves the next river project release is
going to be next week?

Karl's UWlive diary ghave a clue about watching ebay....maybe the next RiverRun project will be sold via auctions? Can you imagine the Dirty bidding wars?!:p

Well, hopefully it would be just a dutch auction with fixed Buy It Now prices, instead of a bidding war. Of course, then there's no real difference between doing in eBay and just selling it on your own site.

Well, maybe yes, maybe no. i mean, we only have two sample points to go on. There's no rule that UW can't decide to release their next bundle on a thursday...:o Just saying, February's still young!
