podcasts

i thought we could start a thread of our favourite podcasts. i've only just started using this feature of itunes, but its pretty damn cool in my opinion. gotta love the guilt-free part of this type of free music, as opposed to the other type of non-guilt-free downloaded music, which i know nothing about of course *cough*slsknet.org*cough*

anyways, my current subscriptions

1 ricky gervais
2 erol alkan
3 hydrogen project ;) by mkb himself
4 trash (club in london frequented by the afore-mentioned mr alkan)

the ambient label Kranky Records has a podcast that comes out every once in a while. I get it just to chill with but my friends think I'm insane

Re: podcasts

i tried subscribing to the de:bug podcast but there was more music than i actually had time to listen to. there is a pretty good mix series from dj kage called the detroit sessions. it might be in the itunes directory but i'm sure it's around.

also a pretty good series (only three mixes so far) is from milk.radio, which is good cos i got pissed off with the real media streams they used to insist on on their website.

If political topical satire is your thing, The Now Show is now available as a podcast.

1. The Sound of Young America - past interviewees have included Patton Oswalt, H. Jon Benjamin, Brendon Small, Terry Jones, Blackalicious, Sarah Silverman...always a good show
2. Le Show - News and political commentary from Harry Shearer
3. The Treatment - I just subscribed to this one and the latest is a great interview with David Mamet.
