Mmm.. It's up there with banstyle for good music to listen to as you go to sleep.

It is absolutely lush. I first heard this on the guys' Dirty Radio broadcast in December 2004 and it blew me away totally.

(Whence my change of nick after the Great Dirty Rebuild of June 05).

It'll never get released via download or on CD etc, it was a track left over from the AHDO sessions and it was a pressent for us or something via dirtyradio.

this is definitely one of my favorites. it pains me to think it'll never see a release, 'cause it certainly deserves one. I also love the similar track played in Electraglide 2000, just wonderful.

It's not exactly Biro the Leggy, but the fourth track in the Tokyo 2000 show has the same percussion in it. This thread explains things (really just makes it even more confusing)

Yeh this is some serious good Underworld tunage. Its perfect for lying on the floor in somber reflection. The way the beat kicks in after a while is total beauty.

It doesn't mean they can't throw a studio recording of it up on underworldlive.com in the audio section....

Biro the Leggy was played on the tribute to John Peel show, also, late in '04. Seems like the boys were into it at the time, but probably have since sent it back into the archives. Remember, they're sitting on a lot of music, 180-ish pieces...i'd be surprised if these all see the light of day.

But i agree..."Biro" always gives me a chill, feels like winter.

Sadly I can say that I've yet to hear this track. :[ On the other hand "Thing In A Book" & "Ansum" have lately become my official airport travel soundtracks.

i have been feeling the alex reece mix of "bandstyle" lately.when it first came out i was disappointed but after all these years have passed and i'm not expecting "pulp fiction" (part 2) it sounds great on a sunny day glass of vino sort of way.

Can we please have an Unreleased Survivor thread so I can vote off everything but Biro the Leggy?

Actually, same goes for an Ultimate Survivor. I'd still vote everything else off. Yes, even Kittens.

If they'd been putting together riverrun releases when this was kicking about, I reckon it'd have been released - it would fit so well, don't you think?
