Goldfrapp's US release of SuperNature - fingers crossed there'll be some new stuff or extras!!! (please, oh please God of Good Vibes, have T.Raumschmiere's "Lovely 2 C U" as a bonus track, inscence has been lit, sacrificial lamb tied to stake, chanting begins . . .)

Re: Music for 2006

I think that the Prodigy is actually a pretty good chance... I mean, it seems that they're serious about an album actually coming out in 2006

and I am actually looking forward to it - believe it or not. Basically because of the strength of "Warning"

and yea - Primals album is supposed to come out in February!

Well, I still think AONO was a fucking fun album, so I'm looking forward to the promised late-2006 album.

i read an interview with kevin shields around the time he contributed to the lost in translation soundtrack in which he said he destroyed the master tapes from those sessions as he wasn't happy because the sounds on tape weren't matching the sounds he could hear in his head (theres a surprise :D ) Although he did say he remembers 5 songs being good enough and he'll re-record them when he gets around to making a new album, which won't be an mbv album, because mbv are in the past

he need not worry, loveless still sounds ahead of its time nearly 15 years after it was released

...on both of them. Although I'd say it's better odds for UNKLE than MA, UNKLE have already gotten some tracks done (Burn My Shadow), recorded music, and added vocals to at least a few tracks. Oh, and Junkie XL is going to (or already has) remixed "Burn My Shadow"

...which is a kick ass song!

That track from the Goal! soundtrack is great too...

Actually on the MA site, there's a quote from 3D saying he's almost done with a new album...
