I've seen UW countless times over the years, but last night was like some kind of religious experience. Incredible energy, and setlist was absolute perfection. Loads of new material played, as well.

the TCT programme does state that UW will be releasing new music in 2023. It's a single sentence at the end of their article. One would assume they would have consented to this being included.

"releasing new music" is not a surprise. UW said that in their New Year's newsletter ("We will be back with new music and live shows in 2023"). What form that takes, though, is unknown. Traditional album release? Drift Series 2? Something else? Maybe there'll be an announcement soon.

I'm thinking it will be a traditional album. They'll save Drift 2 for another time. Personally, I want a more traditional album with a flow to it, something that feels like a complete journey. Though I wouldn't mind Drift 2 at a later point... perhaps after a massive Riverrun boxset. ;)
