Re: Antirom 20th Anniversary

I had no idea Antirom was even, like, a thing that other people cared about. I thought it was just some random Underworld fanatic thing. Wow.

What a time to be alive! I remember Lex in "Jurassic Park": " its a Cd-rom! It lets you do anything!". Or close to it.

I have read that the audio contents of the CD are encoded at 128kbps. Can someone confirm this?

Re: Antirom 20th Anniversary

I think the tracks that are commonly circulating as "Antirom" all come from the CD labeled Tomato2. They were in a folder called "AMB" and labeled RICK1-5.aif. They are in uncompressed AIFF format, 16-bit 22.050 KHz, mono, so pretty low quality, unfortunately.

The first 2 tracks are from Van Halen Van Halen. The other 3 tracks haven't been released, but RICK4 was used often in 1996 shows. You can hear samples from it in recordings from Reading, Roskilde, Quart Festival, Move Club, Alpes Festival, Sound City Leeds, and probably more.

ow thats lower quality that I thought. I hope these tracks will also see their way to a release of sorts in future.
