Underworld Live Dream Mixes
I made these several years ago, mostly from the Live Here Now series. Taking the best tunes from the series and sequencing them into a "show" so to speak...I made two hour long compilations. I did post them at the time, but pulled them because the LHN discs were still being sold. Seeing as how those are all long gone, I thought maybe some of you die hards might enjoy these. You'll have to figure out the tracklist for yourselves. ;)

Re: Underworld Live Dream Mixes
Ooh! Gonna have to put these away until I finish the other 2/3rds of the LHN series I've not done yet, excited anyhow!

You're a good man, Professor Marshal Watson! Thank you!
I was just listening to the "Push Upstairs" CD-S with "Please Help Me" and started mentally mixing B-sides and rarities. Then i decided, hey, we have Cds an mp3s and shuffle capabilities. Bring on new material! Remembering Karl's old 90's shirt that read "Begging for It". |
Re: Underworld Live Dream Mixes
thanks!
At first, I thought this was going to be a discussion about how we'd like to see them live (like what track sequence, etc) but this was a nice surprise. but seriously... how awesome would it be to see R+K (and Price) do: Banstyle -> Juanita/Kiteless -> Confusion the Waitress -> Born Slippy -> Pearls Girl ..like they've certainly done variations where two or three of those have been played back-to-back... but all five? that would be a mental show |

“THERE’S NO DONUTS SO IT’LL HAVE TO BE CHEESECAKE”:
Said the radio as I stepped into the shower laughing. A smell of coffee & pancakes floated up from the kitchen, a sure sign that this was going already a very different kind’ve start to the day. (K) ...and then hot pot and kebab, sweet sunlight and ice cream lightened up a cloudy day :) Professor, the last tracks on both files are indeed a dream. Thank you! |

Re: Underworld Live Dream Mixes
Real challenge will be pinpointing the source concerts! I'm saving these mixes til after I am able to listen to all of the source sets... spoilers and whatnot.

Re: Underworld Live Dream Mixes
Jetpig, good luck with that. :) I used about 6 of the LHN cds to blend this together, plus some other good live source material. I'm glad you guys like it.

Re: Underworld Live Dream Mixes
Hehe, I'd have to go back and listen to it... I have the sessions somewhere. But yes, pretty much spot on. I love that in Brixton, they played Strumpet, which became Bird 1. I remember listening to that in the winter in Seattle, sitting outside on the front steps, miserable from a shitty job. I was like, holy shit... this new one is amazing. It took them nearly 3 years to release that.

Re: Underworld Live Dream Mixes
Actually, I don't know what that one is either. Some live jam tacked onto another track. Has moments of warped out Glam Bucket sounds.

No, it's actually a different Darren Price piece, unknown title. First showed up in the 2008 shows.
