Get in touch?
Really tried to email to karl.6music@bbc.co.uk but got something like

- These recipients of your message have been processed by the mail server:
karl.6music@bbc.co.uk; Failed; 5.1.1 (bad destination mailbox address)
Remote MTA cluster1.eu.messagelabs.com: SMTP diagnostic: 550 Invalid recipient <karl.6music@bbc.co.uk> (#5.1.1)

And what was the name of the track between So will be now - John Talabot and Moderat - Rusty Nails? And the short track before that? Both were very nice.

Dont think he's allowed to promote his own music. Some BBC policy. Was the last show live? i missed it due to dutch queensday shenanigans.

TheBang 04-30-2012 05:05 PM

Re: A Month of Sundays: Karl Hyde

I believe it was live, as he had a daily diary entry the other day about traveling to London to do it.

Re: A Month of Sundays: Karl Hyde

Lucked into hearing part of this yesterday. The BBC didn't include it in the tracklist, but Jai Paul's "Jasmine (Demo)" was played in between Stevie Wonder and Little Feat. I fell in love with that one - thanks, Karl!

Andrea 05-01-2012 06:50 AM

Re: A Month of Sundays: Karl Hyde

I fell in love with lots of things too. I hope he will be back soon because I really love his radio shows.

Some of my favourites was:

The Future Sound of London
Robert Owens
John Talabot
Quentin Harris — (the price on iTunes for the "Let's Be Young - EP" is rather ridiculous though)
James Holden
Luke Abbott
Aphex Twin
David Essex
Jai Paul
John Martyn
Black Sabbath
Arthur Russell
Susanna and the Magical Orchestra
Moderat
The Smashing Pumpkins
A Man Called Adam
Keaton Henson

Beautiful! I miss Mr. Softvoice already.

Anyone have a rip of Episode 4? Havent found one online. NEED it for my mp3 player, and for posterity :)
Have been listening to Episodes 1-3 on the commute daily. Enjoying them immensely. Will be tracking down some of this stuff in the coming weeks... (brace yourself, wallet!)

Hi All,

I dont suppose anybody has ripped copies of the recent Karl Hyde Month of Sundays? If so, would you be willing to share it. Realise this is really an incredibly cheeky thing to ask as have only just joined, but I thought that this forum would be a great place to begin. I would dearly love to listen/ re-listen to the shows, especially as I missed episode 2 & 3 completely.

Chris.

Re: A Month of Sundays: Karl Hyde

I'll take this silent for a "no"... The thing is that I don't have access to the FTP rtsr. So could someone be so kind to tell me where I can find the last episode (04-29-2012) of the AMS serie? Thanks.

froopy seal 05-16-2012 07:56 AM

Re: A Month of Sundays: Karl Hyde

From my end, the FTP server has been inaccessible for the past few days (host resolution error)...

Re: A Month of Sundays: Karl Hyde

I live in America so I couldn't get the radio broadcast. I have been able to download the first 3 online, but was unable to find the 4-29-12 broadcast. I would be forever grateful if anyone could help me out with this one, thanks.
