Wow, that translation is astonishingly accurate. I wasn't aware how good Google Translate works. Just tested it and even without your manual fixes it's comprehensible. Funny, though, that it changes Karl to Charles. :)

Also, I'm envious of you Dutch dirts. The line-up is massive.

Any unusual songs being played lately, like Confusion The Waitress or something new? Underworld played Strumpet in 2008 at Brighton and Brixton. I walked into the store just to find a new album. Whoever has money to make this concert is lucky. I never seen them live. :-)

The setlist has been mostly the same since they started touring Barking though I hope they will consider doing a proper improvised gig again come december :)

€65,60 is a lot of money but there are lots of other acts, and some live too. It promises to be quite some night. Finally bit the bullet on thursday. Going to the gig in the next hour, with KingOfSnake and others.

Underworld are on at 23:30 for 1.5hrs. Lets see what they play this time... its a festival gig in a club atmosphere so im thinking something along the lines of I Love Techno.

Yes, many thanks for this! Could be the amount of crowd applause in the recording, but this still sounds like it was an amazing gig! Grooving to the "Two Months Off" cowbells mixed way deep into "Downpipe". Awesome NUXX outtro, too!

By the way, the radio have really fucked it all up and mixed everything in, added crowd noise and annoying jingles over the top, so a big fuck you to them because it was a quality banging hard set enough without them thinking they can improve it.

I don't know what the hell this is, but I'm pretty sure it ain't Time Warp. At a minimum, the last two tracks, KoS and NUXX, are directly from Everything, Everything. I could identify those right away.

I haven't listened to the rest closely enough to identify if they're from other shows, but since Downpipe hasn't been played on this tour (except the warm-up shows), it's also unlikely to be from Time Warp.

Edit: OK, I finished listening to and analyzing the rest of it. Rez/Cowgirl is from EE also, and TMO and Downpipe are album versions. So, basically, this whole thing is some bullshit DJ mix or something.

Karl's comments at the end of the show:

they didn't play downpipe at all.

it was a great gig, very emotional and an awesome, big stage.

i was crying at the end. BSNUXX was so impressing.
the train at the beginning of nu train (drak train) was as loud as never before. i believed it came into the venue and was 300 metres tall. wow!

the small gig should be the opening for the olympic games 2012 in london...

Thanks for analyzing this. Havent had time to listen to it more than once and with all the overdubbed jingles and crowd noise it was made more difficult. I thought I was going mad not remembering Downpipe being played and was writing every song down in my phone as they were played.

I have a feeling that all the "live" sets played on DanceDepartment at the weekend were recorded somewhere else. There is a rather useless non-informative interview with Karl on part of the show.

One does wonder why somebody will go through all the trouble of faking a recording like this?

shame on me for falling for the fake live set! i skimmed through it just to see what was played, and definitely the transitions felt awfully fast for UW standards, the end of NUXX, i thought, hmm, this ouutro hasn't been played for awhile...duh, EE version!
