This being their first gig in months I thought I would start a thread here so that we can get some feedback from those who may be going to it... ??? Anyone???

It would be interesting to know what the setlist is, considering all of the speculation and what not.

So there must someone out there in Dirty Land going tonight??

yes, but starting with rez!!!! - surely that all the info we need to confirm at least its a different set list from last year or maybe even back to mixing it up :) :) think i might have to invest in some more festival tickets!!!

Totally shit crowd. I saw them at Ultra back in 2008 and the crowd was all 18+er's waiting for whatever lousy electro-scratch whoop whoop DJ of the moment was coming on next. They didn't give a shit about anything Underworld was doing until they played Born Slippy. Then they lost their heads jumping up and down blowing fucking whistles.

I hate Ultra. Been twice and neither time was enjoyable.

and you guys are totally right about the shit crowd, my brother and I were the only ones really going crazy in are area. I feel that they didn't get the respect they deserved and the appreciation for what they have brought to dance music. And unfortunately most people will never understand that.:( Think most of the crowd was just there for deadmau5, but maybe if there was never underworld there wouldn't be deadmau5. Though, i thought they were great, needed extra 30 minutes, No diamond jigsaw too :(:(:( which was the only downer cause really dig that song.

And as karl left stage, he actually seemed a bit down (guess cause of shit crowd)

Yea the videos give the impression he was a bit frustrated.. hes shouting in a weird way.. proper crap crowd i guess

must be a bit depressing to take all the gear and themselves over there for the first show of their festival season and then get a crap reaction. especially as i suspect karl is very down over what is happening in Japan (very unusual for us not to get a comment on the diary about the gig). next gig is malta - i was there a couple of years ago the last time they played there and the crowd were pretty young and into the gig so hopefully it will pick them up :)

How the fuck are they not going mental to that "crazy crazy craaaaaaaaaazy" time stretching at the break down in Pearls Girl???? What do they need to dig the music?? Fuck sake.. I dont want to generalise a whole state's population of gig goers but it seems to me that they are dead to any sort of stimulus.. maybe it is over exposure to media, maybe its inability to appreciate the effort that goes into the music and stage production... maybe its not about the music and just about being there.. but seriously there is no love in that audience and id say it is such a waste to travel half way around the world and get that response after performing music and light shows with that much energy... its a pity they didnt play a smaller gig for what looks like about 1-2000 people who actually did go to hear the music, would have been far more fulfilling id say.
