So, who's going?

I'll be there along with 4 friends. Two of which who have seen a few shows, two of which haven't ever seen UW perform live.

So I bought 2 tickets for this show but now I can't make it - (it's okay, I'll be at the D.C. show 2 days prior)
So if anyone wants a pair of tickets for less than ticketmaster (I paid $120), make me an offer! They're printable e-tickets, FYI.

been a huge underworld fan since they blew my mind in the mid 90s. remember them from the movie hackers too... and just a minute ago - i bought tickets to see them here in nyc on nov 27 @ roseland ballroom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

who else is going? i love this music but never really felt compelled to go see concert.... i can't wait for the show!!!!!!!

re: roseland ballroom - tons of bands have played there but i've never been to any shows there. a friend of mine went to a prodigy concert there this year (or was it last....?) and he said he had a blast. venue is a little small but that should make the experience better, IMO :D

it's right in the middle of times square so there are tons of places to head to to get tipsy before the show :D

Roseland Ballroom is my favorite small venue in NYC. Sound is fantastic, atmosphere is wonderful, location is picturesque, and it just feels right. Cannot wait to see them there.

Roseland is historic in my book. Im kicking myself in the ass for choosing to go to the DC show over this one, but alas Moogfest calls my name.

Portishead did a one off show here, they made a DVD from it that is one of my favorites and worth buying even you remotely are interested in Portishead.

ill be there Nder... but ill be working and hopping on a train to get into the city. Not sure if ill be able to meetup before or not. Roseland isnt a huge joint, so we'll meet you inside.

doubt we'll get into Fallon.
don't know much about a cool place near the venue to meet up...anyone ?

well that venue is smack-dab in the middle of NYC -- where the touristy places are.

I'll ask around for potential meetup places. I'm trying furiously to get a half-day for that Wednesday so I can get in earlier.

Want to meet here? Its right near by, and just a pub thats easy to get to. I've been cleared to leave a bit early and can prob. be in the city by 530 the latest.

There's also Lizard Lounge, or Iguana - whatever it's called now - 240 West 54th Street - I think a couple blocks closer.

as long as they serve food and beer, we're there.
just pick a place near the venue, and i'll call ahead to make sure they've got a table big enough.
oh yeah, a ' hells yeah ' confirmation here from anyone who WILL be attending the pre meet....include a guest(s) if bringing any.

spoke to Rob @ Mcgees...
if we can get 30 people, he'll give us our own room, bartender, and 2 waiters.
cash bar ( same prices as mentioned before ). possible discount on food if enough people eat.
we can also pipe in our own music.:D
so let's start a count of peeps...

got room for one more at the pre-meet? Lurked here (and dirty.org) for a long while, just now signed up. I don't know anyone in NYC and none of my friends could make it to this show. This looks like as good a place as any to ask around!
