I live about 1 1/2 hours north of Tokyo so I`ll be there!!! I emailed you about Elektroglide,　but you haven`t responded yet, so I decided to post!

I`m bringing a couple of friends who I`ve "turned on" to Underworld. Do you want to plan a small dirty meetup? I`m sure that there are at least some Japanese english speakers / gaijin(foreigners) living in Japan who regularly come to dirty.org and would be interested in a meetup before the show. Perhaps we can get a few people to come!

I`m very excited about the show and hope to meet up with you.

Good to hear that there are some other dirts living in Japan. I hope kite1ess will be coming to our small (but hopefully growing) meet-up!

We need to find a good venue for it. Although I live about 1 1/2 hours north of Tokyo, my girlfriend is Japanese and she lives there. I will see if she can search out a good place for it. Maybe an izakaiya (Japanese restaurant/bar), sushi bar, or something like that? I haven't found a single restaurant in this country (except Mc Donald's) that doesn't serve alcohol, so that wont be a problem.

Any suggestions?

BTW - That stuff on UnderworldLive is unreal - especially that video of Born Slippy from Electraglide 2003! Brings back great memories. My god I cant wait for the show!!!

I am so pleased they are going to play a 3 hour set. I was there last year and most bands only played for about an hour, hour and a half.


First time seeing Underworld and I'm shaking with excitement...

It sucks that the "buy the most Underworld songs this week" competition
isn't happening this week. I heard the prize was a free trip to Tokyo's Electraglide.:confused:

I see the set will be 2 hours only in Osaka...there's only one room at the ATC Hall so everyone's on the same stage.

I just made the reservation for 10 people at Tony Roma's - Makuhari WBG store from 5:00 - 7:00 on Friday Nov. 25th.

They weren't completely booked, so we can probably play around with those numbers/times if need be.

LOL - So true!:D But if you have any trouble the reservation is under "Tae".

I've got to stick around till about 9:30 to wait for my friend Andy to get off work, so heck, we can either stay at Tony Roma's longer or head to another place! I don't know what Yannick's group has in mind yet, but I'm sure we'll all figure something out.

I was flipping the website and look for timetable of electaglide, it came to this page. I am excited for tomorrow`s show. This is my first time underworld show.

I will finish my work at 6 so I don`t think I can make it for 7 or so, but I will stop by if I can!

yo, thanks to everyone who showed up, as always I barely made it, skipped the food, was drunk, draged everyone to another place hehe [mcdonalds] i'm really sorry for that, big thanks to matt's girl for taking care of the reservation and everything, will make it up to you guys when I see you again later this year. thank to the other matt boy for showing up, keep in touch, and ken for saving our ass from the train mayhem ;) oh sorry also that lost you guys, hope you has much fun as me. the music was amazing, amazing people here. many picture/review coming up later this week.

Glad to meet you all. Had fun hangin' with Yan and his friends in Tokyo. Matt, sorry we didn't get to hang out/ meet up after the meet-up. I had 3 newbies with me and all of them had never been to an electronic show before (one of them had never even been to a concert), so I had to make sure they were cozy with the whole experience! But everyone loved it. Great times!!!:D

Hi, guys

It was great show. I really enjoyed it. I was impressed Karl`s movement, and he was so energetic. Did they play cowgirl? not whole thing, isn`t it? If I remember right, they played two months off after born slippy.

I liked light surgeons, coldcut. did you see jon spencer joined their show and sung one song? That was good surprise. Chris Cunningham`s stuff was shocking and hardcore I found. But everybody else looked fading away to see underworld.
sorry I could not stop by because I arrived there late.

do you know free English magazine called metropolis? Underworld`s interview is in it. I am reading right now!
