Best political ad my eyes have had the pleasure of seeing

It's cliche to say "best _____ ever" but I really think this video may be the one.

Was this ad a piss-take or serious?

It is a real ad. This dude is a republican from Florida who is running for congress. This is going to seem so slapstick 20 years from now.

what's amazing to me is that they actually found some middle-eastern looking actors willing to go along with this.

That was my first thought, too. The scary thing is, I bet a significant percentage of our population will be thrilled with this douche-nozzle's no-nonsense approach to racial profiling. I mean, more than 50% of Americans support Arizona's new fascistic immigration law, so why should this be considered wrong?

It's pretty slapstick RIGHT NOW...

Title of thread does not lie!!

And before anyone panics and takes this too seriously just remember there is basically no way in hell this guy gets elected - I mean he can't even get a positive youtube comment....

Yeah. Public figures and the media have already concluded this was in bad taste.

Oh, figured I'd throw another political ad in. This one from Carly Fiorina's people to discredit Tom Campbell, a republican she's running against in the California primary.

She's got Sarah's Palin vote :)

It's funny when you contrast that ad, which probably cost $35 to make, with this one (warning: over 7 mins long):

This is nothing to do with US politics.

And I'm not making light of the situation in Thailand.

But fucking top marks to this tubby bastard for showing it to the man - in one of the most original displays of political protest I've seen in quite the while.

Fuck you!

I really like how he's kept his helmet on - in case he gets shot at....

Someone, somewhere must be able to use that in a political campaign.

hat tip to nutters for posting it first.
