and glad they're releasing an EP
I feel like it's a "forgotten format" ... as in - people just release either normal, short 20 minute singles; full albums; or simple downloads

I mean... Pearls Girl = classic

and sometimes albums sound much better as a series of EP's, instead of a bloated album. Seriously, cut up an album like.... Dj Shadow's "Outsider" and its much easier to digest

I love listening to Horace Andy, so I like that bit he's on. Plus, it's rather dark, so that's appealing (considering all the people involved in this album, I was scared they'd start sounding like a pop band).

Oh man this sounds good!Is there not going to be an actual hard release of this? I hate the idea of digital downloads replacing cds completely... i want a cd to put in my cd player.. its better that way.. more natural...

I went onto the MA webpage (and it just sends you to iTunes)
I searched on both Amazon.com and .co.uk

...and have had no luck

I mean, "I want to support the band" and all... but if the leaked tracks were 320kbps, I'm certainly not going to pay for mp3 downloads

According to MA mailing list, a version on 12" will be out at some point soon. Saw them live the other week, brilliant show.

Just back from seing them in the Olympia Theatre in Dublin... absolutely amazing show.. the new songs were fantastic! And in such a small venue like the olympia there was a seriously good vibe going on... such a huge sound - the whole place was shaking... really every time i see them live im just reminded of how good they are.. Brilliant!


Oh and i got some good shots so ill give ya'll a link when they are ready

Where can I find some releases from 2004-2009; such as United Snakes? Is that on the second CD of Collected? iTunes doesn't have all of collected. Where can I find United Snakes?

If I recall correctedtedly, most of the United Skanks remixes can be found on you tube or other sites like that and then you just record from your computer. I, for reasons I cannot recall correcctedtedly, cannot record anything from my computer. But, believe it or not, I do have friends, with or without benefits really just depends on how one defines such who are able to do those parts for me.

"...nothing's changed, nothing's changed..."* is usually on a loop in my head most of the time anyways so I really could go without having too many mixes of those songs in the first place.


*Trust me, you don't want to know why and even if you did and I were to explain it to you and you were able to understand what I was getting at it would probably take a while to sink in in the first place to the point that I'd have given up trying and probably ripped all the mixes by the time everything came round full circle and we would all be right where we began. NOTHING'S CHANGED. See?

I'm pretty sure there weren't any remixes of "United Snakes"
the only released version is the instrumental one, and it's the b-side to "False Flags"

now - when they played it live... a few times 3D did add vocals, etc etc etc

and about "Collected"
YOU ABSOLUTELY SHOULD GET THE TWO DISC VERSION

it has a few new and unreleased songs
stuff that's actually legitimately rare

(I posted about it earlier - although I mis-spoke about it being instrumental... it's just been a while since I listened to it)

or at least on a single that's easier to track down - as False Flags was vinyl-only (although, yea - there was a promo cd)
