Full Length Concert Vids other than Everything, Everything?
 

I always thought their weren't any and following some recordings I made at the Toronto Kool Haus show a couple weeks ago I got the idea that it would be nice to record a whole show to share that experience somewhat with people who have no idea how great they are live.

A 40 minute TV recorded high quality show from last year, which excites me and leads me to thinking their might be more I don't know about.

Does anyone else know of any material on torrents, download sites, whatever where you can get visual material in decent lengths?

You should check out RTSR Board of Trade then, dedicated to all things Underworld live.

After you register for the group, browse through some of the messages, but make sure you also click on the Links section for information about the tracker and FTP site.

On the tracker, there's a complete (except for the encore) pro-shot show from Benicassim 2005, and the Love Parade footage you linked in better quality. Lots of other audience and proshot shot vid too. Then there's also the proshot footage from Underworld's webcast shows: Cocoon 2006, Roundhouse 1 & 2 2007, The Oblivion Ball, and Fox Theatre Oakland.

Also, check out the Creamfields Portugal footage from this past weekend. Someone shot the whole show in HD, and is gradually uploading it to YouTube. http://www.darktrain.org/dirty/forum...ad.php?t=10262

My god! Please don't let that video editor near a desk! This guy took incredible source material and turned it into a piece that borders on unwatchable. My biggest pet peeve in concert videos is directors/editors that feel they have to try and add to a performance with obnoxious effects and stacatto edits.

It just hurts to watch this

Underworld's full Loveparade 2008 performance is available on an official CD/DVD release called "Loveparade Club Vol. 1" !!!

Actually, the DVD version is about 1 minute shorter because of edits before UW enter the stage and when they leave...

Ah. I guess the point is, it's not their full performance at that festival, just the 40 minutes that was previously broadcast.

Nice. nitpicking over a minute from what wasnt even a great gig. Greatest hits at best. anyways, there was another filmed gig from 2005 at the Exit Festival also that you missed. Not a bad gig. Thats also floating around on the RideTheSaintedRhythms tracker.

Exit on Radio 1 only broadcast Pearls Girls, NUXX, Lenny Penny, Small Conker and Twix and You Do Scribble - the first time they were played live to our ears.

By badly being exploited I assume you most only mean people trying to sell it? Some people don't really know about how forums work or don't know about this that are still really big Underworld fans and I think they deserve it too. That said I am fiending for my approval to the boards still. It's been about a week and things still aren't rolling and I've got like 6 videos from Toronto to contribute.

There are no membership requests open at rtsrboardoftrade yahoo group all are granted last week or so. Just checked the tracker too and there's nobody to validate there either.

I've been on the tracker looking for the video of the Roundhouse show's from '07 (I was there) and can't find them anywhere. Am I being thick?

I found these and also the audio on the zombtracker. Anyway, we've already this one on the holy RTSR.

ok, i'll have to do some double checking.

i had a couple of concerts on PAL videotape from
graham cooke.

i'll find out what they are.

i am getting a multi format VCR,
which does PAL/SECAM/NTSC:

although my connection is slow,

ok,

here's the details of the two shows:

it comes out to 9 gigs, in MPG2 format,

will have to compress them, because i don't
have the bandwidth to upload them.

maybe a preview version.

the vcr converts PAL/SECAM to NTSC,
which is what my digitizer captured.

i'm not sure if the speedup is present or not.

i do have the MTV version of Eurokeenes concert on NTSC videotape,
and have that digitized also. it has more of dark train and the beginning
of the concert which is clipped on the TMF version.

i'll have to compare and combine those.

i also downloaded the lower quality versions of the audio and video
from the FTP site, and will have to compare against those also.

hope you guys enjoy these,
i finally made a straight preview of these 2 concerts,
am uploading to the ftp site now.

the ftp site, under :
-> uploads -> eurokeenes 98 VHS
-> rotterdam 98 VHS

both are 720x480 AVI files, about 700-800Megs.

these are not split previews, but just the entire video converted to show you the video
quality, and sound.

they will be redone as proper DVDs at some point.

check them out and enjoy.
feel free to repost on the rstr tracker, because that
will be easier for people to get.

Initial impression is that audio quality seems a little worse than other sets of the time, but only slightly. That said what can you expect of a 15 year old VHS recording? Thanks for sharing, and I definitely want one of those shirts she shows at the start!

This is my first time hearing Five Points. Is this recorded anywhere else? The track seems somewhat familiar, but I can't place where I've heard it before.... A radio show maybe?
