i actually talk to people,
look up, and try not to be too 'invisible' at work..

granted, i still dont have any real friends here after
3 years... and i don't venture too far from the house,
unless its a special occasion..

but maybe there is something in the air?

this is getting ridiculous..

there's *ANOTHER* girl (she's 23!!!!) in the picture..

actually she's been there for a few weeks now,
but it was just talking..

well we've gone out (is that what you call it?)
twice now...

and i kid you not!

both times it's actually been, sun in the sky, birds singing, perfect
weather (in between a lot of miserable days of rain)....we've talked
about a lot of stuff.. she likes the same movies, plays videogames,
doesn't mind messing around with computers/tech stuff, and to top
it off is just really really hot..

i'm a little scared..

it's just too perfect, which is why i told her about
the 'vanilla sky' effect...[and yes, she's seen it]..

i'm either dead, dreaming, or in some kind of virtual
reality sim....

she laughed, and said 'i guess you'll never know!'..

we do plan to hang out a lot more this week.. o man
this is starting to get good..

good one! i think she's mature for her age, with her
thoughts and goals. That's what impressed me the most.

i'm actually pretty immature for my age. i spend money like its going out of fashion.i have long hair. I still eat lots of sweets and candy. and I act
kinda hyper at times.

ok, i'm not into having my picture taken, but i've been told, i haven't
aged much since college! so who knows?

ok, more craziness... just got back in from 3:30am breakfast with
my friend..we had the whole evening together.. very dreamy,
and cozy..ahhh.... well she can't come to toronto because
she doesn't have a passport!!! so we'll be apart for awhile..

again, i have to warn you, I AM NOT MAKING THIS PART UP [Honestly],
well earlier in the evening we go to a club, to hang out....and
shes there with one of her friends.. so we're all making conversation,
and i start talking to her, and she ends up taking my number also.


OK {wait for it} , the girl is 18 !!! one-eight !!! maybe, i'm a terrible
judge of age, maybe girls just look older nowadays, maybe i'm just
really going insane... where were these women when i was in college?

ok, maybe i was always too scared to talk to them, but
wearing a suit (that's my normal dress mode nowadays), and
gaining a little bit of self confidence seems to help a lot..

and yes, being sarcastic/self-deprecating/nice seems to go a
long way also... trust me, i'm an average looking guy, but i
think not trying to hard, and being relaxed might be the key
that i was looking for (i always was, and still am a little shy)..

ok,

a few updates..

i screwed up my trip to toronto royally!
didn't have a rental car, took a bus..
missed the party.. but went to the concert..

couldn't even make it to montreal...

now granted i was pretty bummed out...


but guess what, my friend back in hartford waited
patiently for me to come back..(this is the 24 year
old -> who is actually 23)...

and in no time at all, we were out partying to all
hours of the night again !!
several days in a row..

its really turning into something.. i hope we don't get
(beautiful) burned out. but she says its just until school starts,
and then things will settle down..

i wrote this the other day when telling
someone about what was going on, and i really meant it:

a better person, and the times we've been together
have been the happiest days of my life...


i know i have to be realistic, and realize there will be
a lot of real issues, and situations that might not be
so great coming.. but i'm prepared to handle it, and

there's a lot of firsts going on here...

but it's going to be awhile before we

i'm just not that comfortable with my body yet..

by the way,
in the last month or two,

my texting skills have improved
about 1000fold... but i still
spell everything out, and try
to use correct grammar and
punctuation.

however, i find that most of the messages
have a lot of shortcuts like this:

which is fine, but i know we have 160 characters,
and everyone i know has a keyboard on their phone!

Then so am I. I'm too a stickler for correct texting. Sometimes hard to achieve in 160 characters. Guess I'm obsessive-compulsive about orthography and grammar.

i was out with my friend tonight,
and we've come to a relevation..

now that school is starting, she'll be busy,
but she definitely wants to continue seeing me!!!!

i told her only if she keeps up her grades, and continues
to be studious.... no point in enjoying ourselves, if her
future career suffers.. i will gladly sacrifice my happiness
for her future if i have to (with no regrets)...it has to
be that way with me..

guys (like myself), may come and go, but she'll need
to be able to support herself and reach her goals..
i told her i would be there for her whenever she
needs me, and she appreciated my sincerity..

it's a real breakthrough for us, and we're working
on some more details later on...

honestly, days like these, make me wonder about
if there could possibly be a happier person on this
planet right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

again, if it keeps getting better, i don't know if i
can fathom the depths of gratitude , or wonder about
what the real meaning of 'unconditional' love really means.

another amazing weekend..

i've seen her again/talked each day...

she came over late last night..
we cooked brownies together,
watched a nice romantic drama ('family man' with nicolas cage/teo leoni)..

just hung out, and got close..

she seems to trust me a lot more now,
and i'm not as paranoid about what she thinks,
since now she's seen the 'real' me, in a nice
quiet enviroment at my place...

she really wants to be around, and enjoy
companionship with me... it's just unbelievable..

there was a moment in time, when we're lying
together, and i was leaning up against her,
and i could feel just the beat of her heart
against me.... the peace, and calm that we
felt nearly brought me to tears..

oh, what the future may hold!
