[COLOR=black]On Saturday, March 18, just before midnight, Walt Disney Concert Hall will become the setting for this progressive, ambient musical movement to come to life. Dr. Alex Paterson and Thomas Fehlmann are The Orb – and since their seminal Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld in 1991 to last year’s Okie Dokie It’s The Orb on Kompakt, the Orb have continued to create electronic music from spacious and minimal celestial-techno to spiraling and hypnotic dance floor anthems.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=black]This extraordinary event - which runs from 11:59pm on Saturday, March 18 to 6am on Sunday, March 19 - culminates with the Orb’s live performance in the main auditorium, while special guest artists (to be announced) will be featured in surrounding spaces and times of the Hall, and will showcase their respective visual and aural minimalist artistic philosophies.[/COLOR]

used promo code DOKIE...but the tix are on sale as of now.

The tix are based on seating for the concert hall. $50 is up front, $20 is the peanut gallery. GA for everything else going on that night, though.

Twas just thinking to myself with Prodigy touring and Daft Punk playing Coachella, I'll have a chance to have seen all the Big Ones in my life excpet for The Orb.....

And now, that will be complete too!
