Freur live on VHS...If you look at the pic of the cover on ebay, I think you can make out Karl playing guitar.

Bidding on this, but now I wish I wasn't.

Signed pics and CD

Circumstances have changed and I now no longer want these. My max bid, which I can't retract, is £75, just to warn anyone that might be interested, so £75.01 would do it.

Chris: if I do "win" these - what an inappropriate term - maybe we can do some kind of deal on the CD alone. Nuts that we were bidding against each other. ;)

together..i've seen 2 or 3 of those go for that much EACH..

wonder if its someone from this board?

...don't know... but I got in touch with this guy and he had a 2nd set. Sold them to me with shipping for $150 total before he posted them up to eBay - Shipping today. I figure since I originally purchased the MMM... Skyscraper CD single for $115 previously, $150 isn't too bad. Now I can sell one and feel like a got a good deal...

good to see you on the boards again -1 - I still have your dubno mixes on mini-disc we traded quite a while back... looking forward to hearing some new mixes - if you're still mixing that is... Cheers,

dave

Hello!

Thanks for your congrats!

Yes im someone from this board!
Altough i dont post a lot (as you can see) im reading this stuff for some years now!
i love underworld music and have been spending a lot of money on it!

Im, in fact, one of the proud owners of 12" ME! Sometime in the future i'll post a picture of it just to tease you all :D Also own one of the £15 live in Tokyo triple cd sets. :p

Now i'm very happy to have won this 4 cd singles, However i have already the MMM Skyscrapper cd, so very soon i'll be selling this one. (Looks like ultradave has a similar story)

 but now im freaked out. How can a seller have two sets of this 4 rare cds? I'm getting suspicious, because he has no seller positive feedback!!

Do you know something about this??

you might want to ask people here for an offer, and
you can bypass ebay if its a good price..

i wouldn't worry about it, there's a few people here that
have duplicates just because they got them in a set (like you),
or they've been wanting to sell them off....(yeah, i know,
i've got several duplicates that i still need to figure out

ok, it seems like a lot of these have been

however, if this is a promo, it could be rarer

The guy should post a picture of the disc - if the disc itself doesn't say promo, what good is a sticker on the plastic case - for all we know it could be a plastic case from another CD single. My 4 disc's should be arriving today and I'm excited. I better hold off selling my duplicate Mmm... Skyscraper single since it seems a few people are getting ready to sell theirs. Anyone know how many copies of the CD Single were released?

The guy told me he knows someone at JBO who got them for him. Said he'd been collecting a ton of UW for a while and now he's deciding to sell stuff he doesn't seem to need or has duplicates of. Doesn't seem like he's trying to swindle anyone. Should be fine. I'm supposed to getting mine today, I'll repost and let you know how they are.

Re: collectors' corner

so ultradave,
you got the same 4 items?
but the 'mmm skyscraper' is a duplicate for you?

anyways, i kind of wonder about this thread..

i know there are always requests for rare items,
but what exactly is rare or collectible any more?
(see the thread 'underworld and ebay')..

i know i post links from time to time..
but most people check ebay anyways...

if there are people that want to trade
or buy items, maybe we should start
another thread just for people that
want to do that?

the thing is this thread is rather large,
and that people might not look at it,
since its hard to read through..

i wouldn't mind it, if it was easier to
get information straight from people
that want to trade/sell their items ..

thoughts, anyone?

Re: collectors' corner

I think this thread is useful for pointing out collectible items on venues (mainly eBay) outside of direct trade/sell with other member on this board. Doesn't necessarily have to be rare to be collectible.

The new trade thread should suffice for member-to-member transactions, but I think this thread still serves a purpose for pointing out available stuff elsewhere.

...the same 4 discs the seller listed on his auction, skyscraper CD, KOS Bungalow mix promo (just some CD-R with a JBO label, the disc itself reads Underworld "King Of Snake"), Dirty Epic 2 track promo cd (Jed The Fish Edit), and the Juanita 2 track promo CD with the promo short cut.

why this guy had 2 sets, I have no idea. He has another mmm skyscraper cd up now:

Oops! :o Proves once again that the eBay search engine doesn't do too good a job browsing foreign auctions. Am I supposed to search all of them separately?! Damn eBay! *ceases agitating and sheepishly continues searching*

negative1 03-28-2006 03:34 PM

_searching_ebay_

for me:
i usually check the US one first: http://www.ebay.com

that usually picks up most of the UK auctions (but not all),
then i go to the UK one : http://www.ebay.co.uk

then the German one : http://www.ebay.de

after that you can check all the other ones,
(australian, canadian, etc)...to pick up on other
foreign releases.

would be nice to have a google-like search for items,
or if someone wrote a search that would go through
all the ebays for items, maybe someone has done it already?

by the way, if you're looking for 'gat decor' - passion,
try to pick up the 7 track italian cd-single with the
exclusive mixes on them, the uk cd-single doesn't
have all of them..(the darren emerson 12" edit)

The dutch version of ebay has a link that gives all underworld items at ebay worldwide if you do a search for them. 'Watch all objects, also by international sellers'. Also there is a search option to search in the EU or worldwide at the left sidebar when you are on the search result page.
I see that it is there on ebay.com too.
Hope that helps.
Best markets still are the US, UK, Germany tho. For Items in Japan you will have to use yahooauctions (+ a middleman cos they don't ship outside .jp)

I know, same on German eBay. But obviously it's (born?) a bit sloppy.

Re: collectors' corner

Rez / Why Why Why just went for £4.99 on ebay this afternoon. While this may seem like a bargain for something so rare, it was described as ORIG but looked like a bootleg, the label was very was worn (no 33RPM COLLECT002 at the top or A JUNIOR PROMOTIONAL TOOL at the bottom either) and there was no photo of the vinyl which is a good sign that its a bootleg as the bootleg vinyl is much pinker. The quality of the record was also described as "VG" (very good) which means it will have surface noise on playing and may have light scratches. Can also it means labels/covers are worn.

On the whole I think it may be that the buyer got what he paid for.

Anyway, here's the link so maybe you can decide for yourself and prove me wrong.

Re: collectors' corner

wow that rez looks battered just by the label alone...

one thing i've just noticed on the bootleg and the original - of which i have booth, the bootleg has an indented inner circle around the centre hole on both sides, whereas the original copy has a raised circle...

now the copy in the photo for thsi auction does appear to have a raised circle, and where 'a junior promotional tool' is supposed to be written it is not shown, so its hard to tell if this is the bootleg or the original

but the original should have as Stimpee stated the text at the top and bottom of the label and as far as i am aware a raised outer circle...

either way a battered version of the original without the official pink sleeve is not worth much more than £4.99 anyway...

well its just the AHDO CD in the case...but the details on the sleeve notes are worth having - its hardly a 'press kit' as such, its a promo CD in a DVD case with an interesting 8 page booklet...

also of note is the track listings on the back which are slightly incorrect, with Mo Move Listed as 13:49 Long - its not its actually 6:54, unless you get a special one in yours ;)

anyway, whats your number let us know when you get it, mine is numbered 0437

I've got number 3228. A while ago i bought it from ebay at a bargain price.

Yesterday i was in a record store in Berlin, and they offered this promo, mislabeled as a DVD(!). It was somehow funny to see that item in a store.
