Yep. This has been a frustrating ordeal to me. I've been trying to be patient and keep up with where I can get one of these cd's, but it seems like if you can't make it to Japan, or you sleep, or have a job, you're kind of out of luck. I know the show was streamed online for a while, but I'm one of those people who's big on audio quality, and you just can't beat an original cd for audio quality. Maybe someone out there can hook a brutha' up? ;)

mine arrived just a few days ago.
I guess i was one of the lucky few. Anyway, I do have a job, but i don't sleep :) (god i'm tired)

Well, they like to do things when nobody expects it. It's the same with the RiverRun releases and archive updates ;)
However it's quite frustrating, especially when you look at this...:(

Yeah, £58 is a lot when you consider the 'official' ebay ones went for £15. Still, let hope there are more and this should either kill the market for these or at least drive the prices down.

My Tokyo ebay cd arrived yesterday (Friday 3.3) - much relief(!!) - ($142 - gasp!!!) - I appreciate how frustrating it is for all the other UW fans not to have a copy. I am loath to criticise Karl & Rick, but if they were able to produce cds for the japanese audience, maybe they could sell them to UWLive members in the same way we are buying their downloads?

yeah but the Electraglide management probably has/had a say in the production of these cd's as well so i doubt it's completely up to UW.

Got mine in the mail today. I'm so happy! :D I can finally get rid of those 96 Kbps MP3's. As good as they sound, they just don't compare to CD Digital Audio.

I doubt it. On the discs it says "the copyright in the sound recordings are owned by smith hyde productions," which pretty much means they can reproduce/distribute/sell it in whatever manner they like.

well, the copyight is theirs obviously but i imagine they made a deal with Electraglide that it was to be a limited item only to be sold at the location.
