wow!...
Compression definitely playing a role in the sound...This will be a top club song for sure. definitely hearing beautiful burnout at the end, too. |

I like the vocals, but not so jazzed up with the music. Not bad, just not stellar. Still looking forward to hearing the full on album.

Re: Crocodile preview... listen to Pete Tong now...
This version is quite decent...it's a step above the Cocoon version, I think. The delay might be a tad over-done in the verses, but it makes Karl's "Allll theeesse thiiinnngsss" simply beautiful. Also, the synth solo after the first or second chorus is amazing! If Underworld follows the pattern of some of their previous singles, they might release an "ambient" version that is a bit more like the Cocoon version. Or, they might not.
I want this album. |
Re: Crocodile preview... listen to Pete Tong now...
let me add something else- it's the best thing i've heard from them in 5 years of demos and live tracks. really inspiring. the cocoon version was lackluster in comparison and had me worried.
on a different note, listen to the very end of the clip, it sounds like biro the leggy fading in. could we be in for an update of this? dan |
Re: Crocodile preview... listen to Pete Tong now...
As has been mentioned, Biro the Leggy has become Beautiful Burnout, the second track on the new album, and fairly similar to the form we heard it in at Cocoon last year.
