This is becoming more and more a matter of deadlocked opinions. And it is in the matter of such things that you probably won't reach a settlement between the two or more factions. So why not concern ourselves with other topics?

Following this, I'll boost stimpee's vision of a hippie community and sacrifice myself by stating that sometimes, if not most times, I like BF better than DNBWMHM. I know this is crazy but it's the truth. *runs for cover and re-registers as "Dunbo-is-teh-h4xx0r"*

The people who have been really angrily bitching about the sound quality, that's who. None of the so called "shut-the-fuck-up-ers" have been using the word "fuck" or "shit" and ":mad:" with anywhere near the same ferocity and frequency as the complainers. I'm still in disbelief (or at least I would be if I wasn't so jaded ;) ) at the way the complaints have been delivered by some.

So, you yell at them which in turn encourages them to yell back and then you yell back and it carries on 5X longer than it would've. They spoke first and there's nothing you can do about that but you can control how long it's allowed to stay at the top of the list.

i think it's more just an example of what some people wanted the complainers to do. yes, they didn't say it so blunt, but the vibe was there, and i remember (don't have time to re-look through the whole thread, and the other one too to find the posts) but people were saying that 160 is fine, you should be happy with what you get, you can't hear the difference, etc etc, which IS dismissing their points, and essentially telling them to shut up because they are wrong (I KNOW there are differences, but having your point of 160 sounding worse than 192 shut down is rediculous, since it is an absolute truth, because there is less information)

i agree with future proof 100% on this, i'm impartial to the whole thing, i dont' like the 5 posts in a row about the same thing, quick and emotional, but his followers who agreed that they wanted 192 got shut down too

This thread isn't accomplishing anything anymore. Now that tempers have calmed, it's spiralling back into the common: "I said/you meant/eat my shorts" logic. Lock time?

Maybe you can see why getting this kind of reaction when expressing disappointment about the (demonstrably) lower sound quality of a new release seems out of line?
