there was a time when buying everything was a blind automatic thing,

i realized that if i don't enjoy the music, i don't get it, period.

especially now, that you can preview most of the music before its
released.

i'm not against digital releases. but it's odd you mention physical formats.

because that's the only way to get this.

Everything But is about 30 seconds longer on the single than on the soundtrack album.

It's sold exclusively through UWlive and that hasn't changed ...

It has always been hard work. This release, however, is one of the easier to get ;)

Re: Long Slow Slippy limited edition vinyl

this version is just really a slow version of nuxx with a few edits. the main thing i love here is that this is the first time to my knowledge that they have released a studio mix of nuxx with the iconic synth chords playing over the top of the beat to close the song, the same as they do live. the reason i love it this way is because it gives the song a more celebratory uplifting feeling than the original nuxx version with that ending.

i wish at some point they released a studio version mix like this , not slowed down of course. particularly the way i would have it is have the choir keyboard sound build up for a while and then have the classic 3 chord riff play over the beat. just to make it clear what i'm talking about go to 10:12m of video below. The beat is also really awesome in this live version at the end.

Wait, this whole thing is just a digitally slowed down version of NUXX? Am I missing something? Why would anyone want that?

Maybe without the vox I could understand it...and perhaps it works better in context of the film, but now I can see why this is limited.

Best version of NUXX. It's not just a digitally slowed down version. It's a completely new track.

Glad to know the version on the 12" is without Ewen Bremner... that sample is just too depressing

...anxiously awaiting my copy in the mail
