Underworld - 50 Minute Mix (Promo CD) [2004]

I got this from a friend working in an independent record store a few years ago. It is a 50 minute continuous mix of Underworld tracks sent out by V2 Records promotion department.

Great mix though and obviously very rare.

Tracklisting:
1. Luetin
2. Little Speaker
3. Twist
4. No Move
5. Two Months Off
6. Dinosaur Adventure 3D

Never seen this before. It says continuous mix, but those tracks only sum up to 46 minutes. Maybe I don't know the meaning of continuous mix, but I assume that means that tracks fade into each other (and do not reappear).

However, there are several AHDO promos that list Mo Move as being 13'49. I don't know if Mo Move played on the May 13th 2006 Lemonworld show was a live jam, but that was 13'26 (early fade?).
That version would make up for the 'missing' minutes on the '50 minute mix
. :)

Anyway, nice find, Todd. Another one to look out for.

The AHDO promo in the DVD case has multiple songtime errors listed on them, appeared the same as on the released version.

I wonder if they just confused that Underworld Promo Mix that came out around the time of AHDO (which had stuff by other artists mixed in... I only remember that Royksopp was one of them) and the AHDO Promo release, which only had a few tracks on it

and I'm pretty sure that the second promo that I mentioned had the exact same tracks as listed above -> but they were definitely NOT mixed together

I have that mix as an .mp3 that was linked from either underworld's site or the forums around the time when DA3D single came out. It is mixed with other artists music as short segways and is really a good mix. My copy is only at 56kbps and I was looking for a higher quality back in 2007. I was always wondering how it had been distributed and if there was a cd version floating around. cool.

You sound remarkably calm!! If I lost my copy, I would be tearing firstly my flat apart, and then probably my entire being. For starters, it is a beautiful package - from the sublime typography of the insert (I'm guessing John Warricker) to the triple disc jewel case. And then there's the gig - where do you begin?? The serene, chilled opening (which is beautifully briefly repeated later on disc 1) fading into the brutal techno of JAL to Tokyo, and so onto Mmm Skyscraper (the drumbeats flashing back and forth on the earphones), to Kittens blasting the cobwebs (surely the most inappropiately entitled track) and then Yuanita - what can I say - "ricky on the groooove!!"

Sorry guys, I have got a bit carried away, and prob from the original subject of this thread - oops
