Re: Ipod Nano - replaces the ipod mini

I have a SPV C500 mobile phone with 2gig of MiniSD whacked into it. Stores enough albums for my likings (twice the size of a shuffle) and it means it's one less device to stuff into my pockets. The headphones bundled are pretty good otherwise you can plug in your own. That new itunes/motorola crap is ridiculous...Sony's new w800i is not bad, but I fuckin hate proprietary formats (memory stick, ms duo)... fuck dont even get me started on the HD-DVD / BlueRay war. I swear this will be another VHS/Betamax saga.

sorry, umm this is a ipod discussion right?

I just picked it up, and the pictures don't do it justice. It's tiny, and great looking, with a really sharp screen. Headphone jack on the bottom is a little weird though.

Any of you that have bought one, is this true?

I think I will hold off until the 'new improved version' then.

I've already got a little nick in my screen, but it doesn't really effect viewing all that much. Are they already discussing a new version?

Nope, but I assume that if it is a problem they'll come up with a new version. Kinda like with the new Gameboy SP.

Both Belkin and Griffin have already come out with some rather snazzy protective casings for the Nano...

apparantly the brasso stuff that cleans brass works the same (just a really fine sand paper action)

so if you run into this problem, even on your current ipod (or if you awnt to resell any electronics and get a better price cause it is all shinny) then try that maybe...

don't hold me to it, and maybe try it on someone else's first or something (just kidding about somoene elses but y ou know...)
