Re: The Official OWB Thread

why is this listed as the album version,
when it is 2 minutes longer?

crocodile - album version- 8:57 - cd/12"

is this like when 'moaner' album version was
10:17 long on the cd-single, and 7:37 on
the actual album..

finally:
what other formats will there be for this?

cd
4xlp
cass?

(darnit, i still need to get:
a hundred days off 2xlp
underworld 1992-2000 4xlp)

On the promo the album version of Crocodile ends with 2 minutes of the same synthesizer loop.
That loop is also on the album, but Beautiful Burnout gets mixed/faded in. So when you skip to track 2 on the CD you can still hear the last bits of Crocodile...

I've tried to substract the promo version from the album, it worked and I got the 'naked' version of Beautiful Burnout.

you can email me how to do this?

i've tried removing soundwaves before (using soundforge),
but i don't know how to do it, do you invert the waveforms?
use some special software?

thanx

This is what was tentatively listed on Wikipedia before the full details of the DVD were known. AFAIK, there is only one version of the DVD, which is what's listed here and on Wikipedia now.

Har. I don't think anyone releases cassettes anymore, do they? AFAIK, this will be CD, LP, and various digital releases, such as 128 Kbps M4P on iTunes, 256 Kbps VBR MP3 for U.S. pre-orders, maybe Beatport and other download services?

Japanese release with the contents of the DVD.
The cd/dvd is also the 12 (incl japanese only bonus) track.

every album up to 'one hundred days' off had a cassette release,
(including 'everything, everything')...although 1992-2002 didn't
have one either...

i only have a cassette player in my car, although i can
hook up and adapter for cd's..
