There was a screening in New York/Manhattan yesterday at the Chelsea Clearview (?) so messages on the imdb say.

"Breaking and Entering was excellent. I submitted a longer comment to IMDB that should be posted in a few days, but here is the gist: Minghella's direction is excellent. He is an acute observer of human relationships. He finds the right pace and tone for the story. The acting is top-notch all around. Jude Law gives his best performance. Minghella always brings out the best in him. Juliette Binoche is sublime and Robin Wright Penn is radiant. Rafi Gavron is outstanding and Vera Farmiga and Martin Freeman are very funny in smaller roles. The cinematography is stunning and the score was very modern and elegant. It was a rough cut, and I can't wait to see the finished film when it gets released."

"Minghella's got a winner here. Will it receive any Oscar nods? I think Binoche certainly deserves one, though the performances are great across the board. But with an August release date it could very well be ignored."

anyone in the DC area should check out the Dada exhibit at the National Gallery. It was suprisingly big, and had some really great pieces.

they have tapes of all their programs too, so you can have a whole program of it. (edit: though not sure they can help out on PAL format though).

looks they they were major pushers, or precursors, to the indexical mark in art. the act of acting as the art and the presentation of it secondary, as in after the art itself of acting.
