I think that I heard Loads of Birds... Its not quite new, but not old either:) Loads of Birds is the last song on Japanese version of Barking, i think... |
Re: Favourite song of the day
Thank you! It´s an awesome tune, especially when the guitar comes in. Btw that guitar reminds of a piece from an old radio show.
I dont understand why it was released only on the Japanese version. A looong version with a lots of guitar pieces like this would be nice to have even for us Europeans :) |

Sweet Dreams (Are Made of These) - Eurythmics
I just LOVE Christmas carols and there's a ho, ho, ho in there somewhere. Nothing could be further from the truth in this day and age. And another free and helpful hint when it comes to caroling from yours truely: Replace every "La" with "Blah". I believe in 100% complete honesty, not some half-hearted, half-life, half-truth "we help you as long as we help ourselves more" truth. Or something. Oh, and Have a Nice Day :) |

Re: Favourite song of the day
Today it's a toss up between:
Martina Topley-Bird's "Intro" and that song on the Bora Bora (Sasha) where there's some lady (I'm guessing it's a black woman, but then again in these days and times and thanks to Vanilla Ice ANYONE pretty much talks like that, but anyhoo...) screaming "MY GOD white-boy, WTF is you doin' down therha!?? You make me feel WOOO" I really like the music in that song. |

Stupidity(You're Children Have Been Born Into a World of Perpetual Contradiction Version) - Ministry

I Feel Love/Exhibit 13 - Blue Man Group A Complex Tour
It really is a visual experience really. I've been told from educators this is the state of teaching our children in this century. Hope they can read at least when watching this. I was going to pick the tune playin' in the #1 Super Bowl Commercial with the dog burying the cat, but thought it'd be in bad taste. Talk about bad timing. :) (that means "Have a Nice Day" & I'm not smiling) |

On the pink wall there is also an old OMEGA clock ad or something that made me think of an old Hungarian group OMEGA from my childhood. I´m sorry I don´t have time for a better translation today but I will do it one day. It will probably be a part of my picture- and poetry book for children. Omega - The girl with pearly hair (1969) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aY8OrU6E4M0 Once a Sun got tired, fell asleep in the deep lap of the green lake, People feel the hurt in the dark, So she felt pity and came to us. Yes, here came the girl with pearly hair, I had a dream, or perhaps it is true, This is how the earth became the sky green and blue like a long time ago, Yes, here came the girl with pearly hair, I had a dream, or perhaps it is true na na na na na At the ckrack of dawn she went home, Behind the blue mountains among the flowers, Little blue elephant telling the fairy-tale On its beautiful pearl-hair the light is asleep Yes, there lives the girl with pearly hair, I had a dream, or perhaps it is true, The pearl hair has grown old hanging down into the deep sea Yes, there lives the girl with pearly hair, I had a dream, or perhaps it is true na na na na na When you are really alone, A small star falls to you Snowy pearls may lead your way Like a good drifter White stones Yes, she is calling me, the girl with pearly hair, I had a dream, or perhaps it is true, Waiting for me behind her pearls, Between heaven and earth, Yes, she is calling me, the girl with pearly hair, I had a dream, or perhaps it is true na na na na na ... |

LGT (Locomotiv Grand Turismo) - Neked Ã*rom a dalt (I write the song for you)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yA-KqxujZ74 Hey, You, who you sell newspapers on the street and get up at five and riding in the tram and studying at nights and it hurt your eyes, and the tiredness bringing tears to your eyes Give me a minute of your life! Hey, You, who´s working daytime, who drives the machine and forcing yourself and healing people and teaching the children and waiting tired for your dreams at night Give me also a minute of your life! I was waiting, to tell you to sing to you, so you know, so you can feel, so you can believe that the guitar sounds for you, the drum sounds for you, the light turns on for you and I write the song only for you, I sing for you, I write the song for you, I sing for you, ooh Woman, You, who gave my hands life, so it can write a song for you too, Now sit down, put your hands on your lap, and close your eyes and listen to me quietly, I need one more minute of your life! I was waiting, to tell you to sing to you, so you know, so you can feel, so you can believe that the guitar sounds for you, the drum sounds for you, the light turns on for you and I write the song only for you, I sing for you, I write the song for you, I sing for you, ooh Girl, and now it´s your turn, who have to know that there is a song waiting for you too Oh, but not this song but a much more beautiful which is only for you, oh, now listen to me, oh Give me a minute of your life! I was waiting, to tell you to sing to you, so you know, so you can feel, so you can believe that the guitar sounds for you, the drum sounds for you, the light turns on for you and I write the song only for you, I sing for you, I write the song for you, I sing for you, ooh "Tell me if I sing out loud" is also nice from the same album, Always Higher (1975) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_B_f5p4F7I |
