OK, I am requesting a new rule of NO DISCUSSION of the album until it drops... Scott your teasing is just not ethical ;)

At least give us some snipits or samples! :D

I think Mr Warners view will reflect how we will feel about the new record, he's just as big a fan as us...

well and also Scott is very critical. He is not scared to say what he thinks ever so I alwasy feel VERY confident listening to his recommendations.

This album's going to rock. I only pray they're going to sell full size poster artwork of the album art at some point. Would look absolutely class framed and hanging on my wall. :)

I listen to DirtyRadio every day and the playlist is chosen by Scott which should say enough about his musical tastes.

It's a very good record. There is a track on the album that I do not personally feel too much for but that's been true of every Underworld album since 'Beaucoup Fish' and I'm not going to name it so I do not color first impressions. I do feel that this record gels together better than anything they've done since 'Second Toughest in the Infants' (excluding maybe the 'Pizza For Eggs' EP) so it's something I put on and listen to in its entirety on a regular basis rather than selecting tracks from it.

If I had to pick a favorite track at the moment I'd say "Holding the Moth".

Just out of interest, how long is the record?

I wonder if this "No reviews until 1st of October" also applies to Scott! ;)

I completely forgot if we determined this to be or not to be some iteration of Globe.

or 'always loved a film' or 'you do scribble'?
are there evolved versions of these on there?

I really liked Globe and Five ft. Four with Ricky singing/speaking over the beats.

ALAF was great, I hope it will be B-side maybe?
ALAF is like an old love you know, you always want to bring it back;)

Re: Oblivion with Bells

well I specifically mention Globe because he says the line, "I'm holding the moth, moth. I'm holding the moth."

I know we had a few discussions about this in other threads, but I can't remember which one it was and the search doesn't yield me any results.

Figured Yan or Scott said somewhere to confirm or deny this. I just can't remember.

;)

That's funny, cos I always heard that to be "I'm holding them off, them off" etc. :D

Maybe you were right! Time will tell. I am getting kinda itchy for this album now though. HURRY UP!!!!

Hmm... don't think Glode = Holding the Moth... why would they give a track two names...

working title? Like Silver Boots and Always Loved a Film?

Beautiful Burnout is just another version of Biro The Leggy isn't it?

BB, I''ve always heard him saying, "I'm holding the moth" but hey, it IS Underworld and everyone hears something different. But then again, there was an Underworld Live post a few months back that had the phrase, "I'm holding the moth" on it.

We already had this debate re: "off" vs. "moth" and Karl settled it by posting the lyrics in a diary update.
