Question:

In my haste to pre-order the Limited Edition Barking, I placed 2 orders.
The Error Message page on underworldlive after the first order scared me, so I placed a second before reading here.

So, does anyone know how I can cancel one of the 2? I PM'd Digital Animal, but haven't heard anything back. Anyone else know who i can contact to cancel?

I did just like you; placed a second order when I got the error message. I sent an e-mail to Andy and got an answer within a day.

I placed my order for Box Set on Paypal but did NOT click the link to return back to the store. I did get 2 emails - one from Paypal and one from the UWLive.com store. I've read here that if you get the Paypal one you should be good.....but what is concerning me is the Transaction ID is "N/A" on the UWLive.com store email.......

wanted to add something.

purchased a bag this weekend. first time, no problem. went to paypal, crashed. had to go for a second time, checked out if the first try was charged, purchased it again, got to the payment part, crashed again. once again, checked out if the last try was charged, purchased the bag, got to paypal and FINALLY got to pay for the thing.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE LOL

please, sort the paypal thing asap!

Right, so just to change the pace - i had no problems. Checked out in USD on Paypal...didn't click return to UW, but kept Paypal open until i got confirmation email. Also received confirm email from UWLive. Also received call from credit card co (i have alerts set up for online purchases). So i think the order went through!
Sorry to those who have had problems, but thanks to Andy et al who have worked them out mostly. Other than the $14 shipping charge, it was a positive shopping experience. Roll on September!

Just sent them an email to check on my order... while I live in Dublin and have not received my order some on the west coast of america have theirs already... I am a little worried. No harm checking.

Be aware that only the orders made before september 1st have been sent... though i made my order on August 2nd

Just so you dont feel left out - I still dont have mine - and i'm only 20 mins down the road from Barking itself. Its gutting to go into HMV and see the boxset and not have a clue where in Royal Mail hell mine is.

i certainly hope these boxes were sent out certified/insured/with tracking etc... sorry mate, hopefully you'll get yours soon as well as all of us that are waiting in aggravation. :mad:

its really bizarre how they don't release the wavs and mp3s through the site for those that bought the physical release from underworldlive.com (especially those that bought the ltd. ed.)

lossless versions would have been ideal for those of us that purchased the box set. that's what interpol did with their latest release... but i'm not complaining.

All in all the marketing and promotion of the new album has been a disaster.. and now i probably wont get the print I first bought this for.. and im left wondering what in the hell i spent nearly 50€ for if not a secure and early delivery of the product on or before the day of release.

If they cant provide the service why offer it?

I live in Germany and pre-ordered the box set at uwlive.com on July 27, but it didn't arrive here yet.

What's even worse: today I learned that amazon.de sells it for 21 € (shipping included), and they even have it in stock. That means I could already have it here for half (!!!) the price I paid at uwlive.com - guess how I feel now. For me, the numbered & signed art print won't manage to turn this into a good deal, and actually I didn't expect pre-ordering directly from the artist could be the worst thing I could do.

I'm a dedicated UW follower since 1988, and I really love to support the guys whenever I can, but this is ridiculous. I already wrote a polite but clear message to uwlive about all this, and I hope someone over there will respond in a satisfying way.

Sorry, this is my first posting here and I wish I had a less negative reason to write it, but tonight I feel very disappointed and somehow angry, too, and I could need some sincere hugs. :(

I promise to "properly" introduce myself to all you dirts in the "Welcome" thread as soon as I'm in an UW mood that appears to be at least neutral enough to do so.

I preordered the box set. I thought it'd be here by now. I ordered from UW Live. Should I have gotten an email saying they put it in the mail by now? I don't believe I ever got an email from them confirming that.

I don't think anyone that has received their sets from uwlive.com ever received any - so i would say no. all that's been stated is that all orders made prior to 9/1 have been shipped.

No, you won't get any confirmation, at least not if you were in the pre-September 1 batch. If you ordered before September 1, they've been shipped and should appear any time now.

I feel a little uncomfortable standing up for An Post, but I think they are in the clear this time.
Going by the update a few posts back I don't think mine has shipped yet, I ordered after 1st September.
Should already be here though, especially annoying when I saw the box for sale in Tower, for I think it was €53.

I bought the fabulous new Woob album recently, a limited print run that he seems to be taking care of himself, whilst waiting for the disc there's an option for mp3/flac/aac/lossless downloads.

(I had it mailed to my parents' place back in the US, b/c I didn't have an address in Glasgow at the time. I just emailed them, and found out that I didn't have any packages in the mail yet...)

Just got a call from Tower Records (Shibuya, Tokyo Japan) and they said they don't expect the deluxe box set to arrive until early October! It was scheduled to arrive today.

Just got a delivery slip in the door telling me they have a package waiting for me in the local post office. It must be the box set.. seems the wait is over. I guess they were just really really really slow about getting it out to me.

Am I wrong in thinking a pre-order should guarantee an early arrival? Whatever, this has been a horrible experience and now I just hope i have no trouble at the collection office - cant even bring it to my door!

@Dunwho - Still no sign of a delivery to me either - I'll check the postbox when I go home to see if there's a delivery notice. Fingers crossed. It's strange it's taken so long to get from the UK to Ireland though. Regular post normally takes no more than two days to do that!

Just to let you all know I emailed them again and told them that while I had received my package they should really consider being in more contact via the forums and through the website. There is a huge lack of information about everything and people are more anxious as a result. If they were to be more active in updating us on their progress and putting our minds at ease it would go a long way to making the wait that bit more manageable. So I asked them to post something here, anything really.

If I had to guess, I'd say underworld had the lowest bidding contractor, Digital Animal, take care of all of this for them. I doubt the dynamic duo were sitting at a desk filling out mailer forms.

This is likely a show of what Digital Animal is capable of, so take a note.

QFT. For some strange reason I also assumed that ordering from the source more than a month in advance and paying US$14 for shipping would get it to me somewhere in the vicinity of the release date. Silly me.

Seems extra strange that I haven't received it when others in LA have. If it's not here today I'll bug Digital Animal.
