Woohoo! Got tickets. Now to try and justify the expense of two plane tickets to NYC + hotel rooms to my wife. :) I'll probably end up dropping $1K to see the band for the first time.

Toronto peeps - could anyone advise me on hotels near the venue and getting to/from the airport? Am considering a trip but not yet sure how to make it work financially. Please either PM me or start a different thread. Thanks!

AirBnB for affordable lodging for sure, still gonna be eating microwave ramen until the show to afford it all.

https://kay.ac/00qVdo - closest hotel to the venue (still a bit of a walk because the venue is at the docks), and a reasonable $105 per night. You can take the UP Express from the airport to Union Station, and then Uber from there.

I'll be going to to LA show. Such a small venue for them I will have to say it's sure to sell out. It'll be nice to see them in a smaller venue for sure.

SF tix bought! first time seeing them was at the warfield too. gonna be a balcony bitch this time though. you all can look up and see me try to find a way to dance anyway

It's actually a rather large venue. It accommodates 5000 standing. The last time they came to California, they played the 2 Fox theatres which are around 1800 and 2800 capacity. Pomona sold out, but Oakland did not.

It's kind of a lame venue though, it's just a long hall. I was in there once, and I don't remember what the acoustics were like, but the ambience is lame.
