Re: collectors' corner

I used the offer option, bid GBP50 for them. She declined the offer and this was my only chance to an offer it now says. I can't see what the 3 other offers were, it only shows mine.
Yeah I try to get promos, the JBO12378P 12" of D3D etc were easy to get at DJshops, still are even. It's nice to have them in the collection. Tracks can always be altered after promo releases for the final release. Or have versions that don't show up elsewhere. Also because they are limited they are collectable ofcourse.
On the other hand, if I was sending out promos for free to get them reviewed by journalists, I wouldn't be happy if they showed up at ebay or in shops. But that's the way it works..

I only tell you this ahead of the official announcement as I'd hate anyone to pay over the odds on eBay for white labels. Unless you want to of course. Your choice!

The seller is wrong in saying that these tracks are vinyl only.
I'll wait for the download releases.

Re: collectors' corner

the seller is using a different seller id, beacuse i think he got taken off selling other promo items elsewhere by the record companies (either way he is charging a lot) ...and she is actually a HE...

we'll see if these get sold...

but anyone who pays £199 for them is paying too much

yeah well done - to the bidder

the seller was obviously waiting for the best offer before selling them...but £199 was mad...

but thats equates to £41 per CD, which is still crazy (and thats coming from me!!!)

Re: collectors' corner

arrived the other day:

BBC Worldwide Radio International - In Concert 757 - Underworld - CD

- Glastonbury Festival 1998 (57'23")

possibly one off CD from BBC in BBC Jewel Cased CD Sleeve & BBC Printed label (includes A4 Cue sheet & Info)

a real rarity - no Radio ID's or voiceovers, straight from the mix desk quality

not telling how much it cost me though...but it was a lot
