They were in rotterdam too. Got the 2CD in my hands :)

Pity they didn't bring the other cds but I can understand that they don't want the hassle. They were packing cds like crazy..

Liveherenow has just posted the 2008 CDs so far.
The 4 gigs from January will be available Feb. 1st (to those who didn't get one at the show).
And you can pre-order the two make-up Roundhouse shows now for a scheduled release date of March 3rd, 2008.

Nice.

my wallet will be sad because it will be one along with my pants and both my legs

i'm going to wait until bush does that whole stimulus package dealie so i can blow it all on the other 9 i dont have, effectively sending all of that money intended to juice up the economy all the way to england.

NICE.

i hope they dont sell out by then.

Can anyone tell me how much these are being sold for at the Euro gigs?
Need to know how much pain I'm going to inflict on my wallet if they are for sale at the Berlin gig!

But they only have a limited number of pre-printed packaging and silkscreened CD-R's. It is "a series of limited edition live CD recordings." Given that they haven't sold out of the first set yet, I think dubman will be fine, but they WILL sell out at some point, and then they will not be repressed.

Received this in e-mail today:

From: Live Here Now <help@liveherenow.co.uk>
To: Todd
Subject: [Live Here Now] order despatch confirmation

Hello Todd,

This is to let you know that we have just despatched the following items:

1 x MON 28 JAN 08 - Palladium Koln (CD Album)
1 x TUE 29 JAN 08 - Maassilo Rotterdam (CD Album)
1 x WED 30 JAN 08 - Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam (CD Album)
1 x THU 31 JAN 08 - AB (main hall) Brussels (CD Album)
1 x THU 28 FEB 08 - London Roundhouse (CD Album)
1 x FRI 29 FEB 08 - London Roundhouse (CD Album)
So, two things:

1. Is "despatch" one of those British vs. American spelling things?

2. The boys sure have been busy. They've perfected time travel now too?

yeah, but if you just want the recording,
who cares if it is limited edition or not?

my point still stands.

Re: UWRLIVECD-002

Well, as I understood it, your point was that because they have the masters they can make as many copies as they want to fulfill demand, and that they won't sell out.

While it's technically true that they could continue to make copies ad infinitum, as I understand it, these are limited edition runs and once they sell out, they will not be repressed ever. So while the shows may all be available now, I would be safe rather than sorry, and order the ones you want sooner rather than later.

Re: UWRLIVECD-002

It's the tricky balance between "order now so I don't miss out and can listen to everything" or "order in a month when I can combine all the shipping and save a chunk on bringing stuff across the Pond" -- I'm erring on the side of the later (seeing as none of the original line have sold out yet)...

yeah,
not to sound too hypocritical...but yes, i will buy all of them
as soon as they are available...maybe because i can actually
afford them now (as opposed to when i wasn't working)...

so i do agree, you should get them when possible,
why in the world don't they have an mp3 download
or sell those as well...we'll never know...whole different
story...

Re: UWRLIVECD-002

My 4 mainland Europe re-sched liveherenow cds arrived today (making a current run of 9, plus the Oblivion Ball ) and wow, what a collection this is turning out to be! The improvs, the old tracks, the re-workings (a totally stripped down "Jumbo"), the original "Born Slippy" - (I didn't even know that an "original" existed (?!). The whole kaboodle has now been burned onto my new super-duper 80gig iPod classic @ the sublime apple lossless (my 30gig 5th generation iPod is already full!) All the cds, bar Rotterdam, have the track names etc embedded in them, which is really cool.

I am counting the days to the Roundhouse gigs:)

Tracklistings are up for the new CDs:

http://www.underworldlive.com/liverecordings.html

Unfortunately, no listings for the new Pricey tunes. Someone forgot to write "Holding the Moth" instead of "Globe". And we also got "Best Mangu". Eww.

Jamiel 02-17-2008 04:19 AM

Re: UWRLIVECD-002

Looking at the JPEG image at the top of the live recordings page, http://www.underworldlive.com/liverecordings , there are cover (edges) showing for Berlin and Frankfurt, although they do show the original 2007 date.

Perhaps they were originally scheduled for LiveHereNow releases, but the rescheduling of the shows meant they could no longer record them.

The four shows from January this year are amazing, a lot of surprises and old 'gems' not played for a long time. Really great performances.

Anyone here stateside get their order yet? My order was sent out on Feb. 8th. Maybe it shows up at the end of the week. Hopefully it will get here quicker than the last round since there isn't a strike going on?

Too bad it's not as quick as HMV Japan was for the Oblivion Ball CD.

According to my notes, it took 3 weeks last time for me to get them after they shipped. So, unfortunately, I'm not expecting them to show up before the end of the month.

I couldn't remember how long it took last time. But I think it took 3 weeks here, too. I'm just drooling over those setlists. At least I have the other 6 shows to keep me occupied.

Did anyone here in Europe receive their cds? I ordered two cd sets before I went to the Hamburg gig and still haven't received them. It usually takes 1-2 days from the UK to Denmark.
No need to email liveherenow, as they never reply.

Same with me in Germany:
I ordered 4 liveherenow CD sets on January, 31st,
Got the despach confirmation email from liveherenow on February, 8th,
BUT I am still waiting for the CDs to arrive (February 21st)!!!

Oddly, now there are 2 UWRLIVECD-013.

Oblivion Ball and Gent...

they decided not to reprint the cases, so the spines still have the cancelled dates on them and they added a sticker to the front cover with the new date info.

Aussie dirt here, my arrived in the post today. :)

Edit: Except, my disc 2 of the 31/01/08 Brussels show is a blank! Both computers I've tried it on don't recognize it as anything except a blank disc. :( Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: UWRLIVECD-002

At the Roundhouse, the merchandise stand had all 4 of the continential European live sets for sale, but not the Oblivion Ball one (which I just ordered at hmv.co.jp). They looked to have more than enough of them left for anyone who wants to buy them tomorrow

TheBang 02-28-2008 06:55 PM

Re: UWRLIVECD-002

The Oblivion Ball show was pressed and distributed by Traffic. Live Here Now only recorded the show and has no production or distribution rights.

I thought today would be the day that my order for the 4 shows would come, but no dice. Hopefully tomorrow as it will be 3 weeks since the order was sent out.

I got spoiled by HMV Japan's 7 day delivery for the Oblivion Ball show.

Jason in Phoenx btw.

Mine haven't come yet. I think I got the dispatch order email the same date as most USA people, Feb. 8th. Wonder why that is? Maybe my mailman is enjoying the tunes on his CD player! I've triple checked my shipment order to make sure I had the mail address correct. :D

For those that have received blank CD's or duplicates earlier in the, has the LiveHereNow staff responded to your communications with them?
