Yes, as far as I can tell, you do need to be signed up to vote... it's quick and easy to do though, and I've not had any spam on the address I gave them when I signed up a few months back.

Hey man, nice remix! Yea you need to be logged in with you beatport account to vote im afraid. So all you can ask is that you get your mates to join up.

Mine is here http://www.beatportal.com/remix/deta...ack-box-remix/ been breaking my ass trying to get people to vote but like you say the problem is none of my friends have a beatport account so all i can hope is that other people keep the dream alive and I get considered as a top pick from the beatport crew.. but it annoys me when i hear "remixes" that are just new songs with the vocals over the top.. and they do real well.. its a bit depressing.. ah well.. there are some absolutely fantastic remixes in there that deserve a good listen and pretty much all of the Dirty remixes are up there with the best of them!

Done, had to get onto a real computer to spin the track and press all the buttons.. my phone struggles with even the simplest of web pages!

I quite like the changing chord progression in yours.. really working with the singing.. adds nicely to the original

Does anyone know if Joe Bellingham's mix was officially submitted to the competition? I only see a soundcloud link, so there's no way to vote for it yet.

Current chart positions for dirts on page 1 (the top 40):

16th Uncles of Wise
18th Marshall Watson
27th LX Nen
28th Dunwho
34th Buji
39th Unwound Floors

So, we've got nobody in the top 10 'guaranteed a listen by the band' positions, and we have quite a few people not on page 1, who *really* need votes to get that first page exposure that leads to more spins.

I didn't start listening to the submitted remixes yet - there was 1 bird in my head for the past 2 weeks, and I definitely need a couple of days without it to make sure I can enjoy them, but I'll spin all the dirty stuff soon (and leave some feedback here, too).

Oh actually i just thought of something....

We should all start commenting on our songs on the actual site... be real active... if we have comments we will stand out.. so i am going to start leaving comments on everyones songs and hopefully drive some new interest... itd be great if everyone else here does the same!
