jigsaw is a great track IMO, really deep into the old new wave groove but it does it justice. really lookin forward to it

Basically, the reviewer does not like the new stuff, which is fair enough as everyone is entitled to their opinion! I get what he is saying - that the new stuff is not exactly ground breaking (unlike Beautiful Burnout / Riverruns). But IMO, a record does not have to be ground-breaking to be good. From what I have heard so far, the new tunes make me feel happy and make me want to dance. While I loved Oblivian, it did neither of those things for me.
