Moon In Water manages to retain its shape pretty well considering how much more upbeat they've made it.

KCRW played "Strumpet" last night just as I was coming off work. Must've been the only person actually singing along ... but I missed out on the special edition box set... so is it on Barking as Bird1? Only reason I'm confused is that Anne Litt said the track was called "Strumpet."

They probably played it off the album sampler which has slightly different track names.

Im totally torn between Bird 1 and Strumpet. I love the dark bass line 'Confusion The Waitress' style. But Bird 1 has gone a bit poppy. Just alot of Hi-Hats for me i guess....

hmm yeah not digging the altered production on Bird 1 here at all. Hihats are too loud and that synth plop that goes for a snaredrum is downright annoying. That melodic thing that comes in at 3.50 doesn't seem to bear any relation to the rest of the tune either...
