fast, get ticket before gig is sold out! | gf can’t come; friends won’t come | yeehah, received ticket confirmation mail | excitement is growing | details for untidy pre-meet settled | thanks mum & dad for car! | last sleep till cocoon | cramming boot with food, beverages, and luggage | picking up passengers | six-hour ride; one traffic jam, one break including yummy wurstbrötchen | wow! first-time view of frankfurt skyline, looks so different from other german cities | dropping off passengers | moving into room (read: dump), taking pictures | taking shower to shake off upcoming fatigue (and prepare for date) | döner eur 3,50 :( | bratwurst + roll eur 1,50 :) | meeting michael yoda with ahdo-bulb in front of nachtleben ahead of time; having a nice chat | when will the golden leaves arrive? did they get stuck on vodka in the lounge? | sorry, no dope, guys | sorry, no spare money for alcohol, chap | ahh, dirty-looking (in the good way) people coming round the corner | saying hello | jayynee conjuring up nice banner; "i spent… minutes on it. minutes and minutes."; but it’s so clean – you forgot the dirt! | romantic: michael and marc will meet again on the shores of the baltic sea | confusing the waitress | hurriedly buying tram tickets; riding to cocoon | eikman tantalising the beer addicts: will there really be another tankstelle? | trying to understand some French | entering the sound landscape that is cocoon; impressive facilities | wtf? sven sporting silver sneakers, black leather vest, shaved armpits | building up some tension; presenting the system’s bass; whole body is vibrating, kooool | karl kiebitzing at the crowd | electrical anticipation, big applause for the boys | one globe for starters | oh yeah, we can definitely "feel this bass" | w00h0000000, awesome bassline | what’s that stuff? new underworld? other artists? | yeah, cowgirl; but without rez, and so early in the set; wth, dancing off my feet anyway | leon is taking the jal flight to tokyo | more unheard sounds | kos at midnight for kos | "happy birthday, kos!" | bottles dancing on the stage | karl looking pale; are you alright? he's been dancing and jumping around quite a bit tonight | me likes john the revelator dub | drugs aren’t good for you | my first time juanita live; i'm so excited; liking that tune better and better since its grand survival of album bashing | my first time spikee live | crowd going crazy over born slippy, as usual; i love that 2003 piano | oh, sweet amnesia | mmhhhhhh, moaner for dessert; energetic as ever, calling for the last reserves | you’ve been fantastic, too! | matt got hold of posters and flyers | cooling down on futons, nodding heads, waggling feet; sweet smiling faces everywhere | fly-in jason going "wtf? that pussy!" over eikman’s surrender to cold | merde! lloyd’s wallet stolen | taking taxi | we didn’t get far with the date but the music was good | taking a nap, having a short breakfast at the main station, picking up passengers, driving homewards, preserving that ringing in my ears | thanks karl, rick, darren, sven, dirties and the background magicians for a wonderful night out!

I’m really glad having met you dirty people and I’m hoping to see you (and the boys) again in the near future.

Seriously, though. What an incredible car journey over, at 120mph on German Motorways. What a joy to all meet up. What a night. What a vibe. What a performance from the band. What amazing dancing. What sweat pouring off me. What a beautiful Dirty Banner *cough*. What good friends. What an awesome experience dancing to Pearls Girl towards the end. What a relief to sit down and chill in the back room afterwards. What a head-massage, Loity.

Fabulous memories. Thank you all. :)

And it was nice walking beside the water in Frankfurt, watching its skyline, and seeing a dalmatian running.
