i have three versions:

ALAF (Extended Album Version) at 6:41
ALAF (Sampler Version) at 8:35
ALAF (Radio Edit) at 3:41

not sure if the EAV is edited....

it does sound like the Sampler version is gearing up to start a new tune tho...

The extended version from the promo is 7min 53sec long with no hint of another track blending in at the start or end of it.

The preorder for Barking on iTunes Japan is up. The bonus track is You Do Scribble (Abbey Road Version).

So will the physical CDs of Barking in Japan have Simple Peal? Is there a link that confirms that? Someone posted a link that supposedly confirms that, but I just saw a bunch of Japanes words and skimed over it and...gah, maybe I should look at it again.

Does anyone know if the physical copies; the CDs, of Barking in Japan will have Simple Peal? That is all that needs to be said. If it is different from Simple Peal 1 from the webcast, I might want to acquire the JP CD (maybe, it be nice to have as a collectable, but I preordered the box set, heh).

Edit: Found this. http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B003SUP1L...1877080&sr=8-5 Lists the tenth track, the JP bonus track in Japanese. Copy it and paste it here: http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_txt and the English translation is "Undecided (Japanese board bonus track)". Check for yourself. So...who knows what the bonus track is.

Wonder what the audio sample rate is on the DVD? Mind you I have the vinyl on order so a moot point really.

On DVD's, stereo audio tracks are usually encoded in 192 Kbps AC-3 at 48 KHz. You can't really consider it audiophile quality because of the lossy compression. It's possible to have uncompressed Linear PCM tracks, but they take up a lot of space. With an hour's worth of videos on this release, it's not likely. I'll have to go back to OwB and The Bells The Bells though and see what they did there.

uncompressed PCM should easily fit on a DVD with an hour of video ( as a normal DVD can do 2 hours + specials ), though it depends on the video compression level as well...
