I too was confused. It took a phone call and waiting on hold before confirming that it was complimentary and my card hadn't been charged by the people at LiveNation.

I'm pretty sure Karl means "Born Slippery". That's my friends' favorite song.

I still have a polaroid cam somewhere. perhaps I should look for some film at the local store.
I've seen amazing tricks with polaroids where they got the chemical layer of the paper and put it on other photopaper. Looks great.
And back when this kind of film was new, my dad somehow fixed a pack of polaroid film to the back of a (I think I remember even a glassplate) bellows voigtlander like this (not this model) http://www.thecamerasite.net/03_Fold...nder-Plate.jpg Large apertures for DOF and Landscape shots somehow gave rather good results.
The fun of waiting for the result has never been equaled in photography again.
No youngsters, digital is not the same trill.

Peter Gabriel's third album - the cover artwork was produced by taking polaroid pics and then manipulating them before they were fully developed (I don't truly understand the technique) to create the "melting" look.

It is such a shame that his truly amazing, yet expensive, photo process is now essentially dead. Oh well

And now we know where the hefty LiveNation ticket fees went to. We got Entertainment Weekly for one year!
