Re: Youtubes
Well, in one of the recent interviews, Karl was talking (jokingly?) about doing one of the songs during a live show with an iPhone and the iDrum app.

Does this count as the youtubes? I think everyone here will enjoy it:

The Korg DS-10 person is at it again. No live mixing this time, but a good creation nonetheless.

Re: Youtubes
Very nicely done fan video for Dark Train. Not sure if the footage was done specifically for this video, but I like the camera-work, particularly the night footage.

I haven't been on the boards much lately, so I don't know if anyone else has posted this:

Bizarre mandolin Doot Doot cover
Just when I thought I'd seen everything, I stumbled upon the Chuck Love mandolin rework of "Doot Doot."

"This video contains content from Sony Music Entertainment. It is not available in your country. Re: Chuck Love Rework
Swift,
Took care of that for you. Downloaded the vid and upped it to rapidshare. Saved it as an .FLV file. http://rapidshare.com/files/44262634...rk_Rework_.flv Let me know if it gives you any trouble. |
Re: Chuck Love Rework
hey innerspaceboy,
thankyou so much for the effort!!! downloaded and just watched it. and actually, it is not bad at all... but then agian, this is an absolutely classic song. come to think of it — now underworld has somehow partially re-introduced the mk1 way of things (reappearance of pop structured 'songs', an 80s-like arrangement in some tracks)... wouldn't it be great if they 'covered' their own doot-doot in a live concert? maybe converted to a new version, comprising their present views on the track? (like they also do a lot with the older mk2 tracks). i guess a large part of the audience would go mad if they would unexpecteldly set in doot-doot...i would, for sure... |

Re: Youtube Videos
never seen a live video of Karl playing tambourine, but here you go.... just after the 4:00 mark.

Re: Youtube Videos
The tambourine's usually up on stage somewhere, but I've only ever seen it used for Rez, and not often at that. You can see it in the Loveparade video too:

Underworld apparently played at the Tribal Gathering in Munich, Oct. 1, 1994:
