again, the price is only ridiculous if you dont want to pay it. to someone that makes say, $200k a year, the price is a 'who cares' point. ebay is a pretty good guide as to what things are actually worth to people. if it doesnt sell, he'll relist it at a slightly cheaper price until it does sell.

and he is doing nothing wrong really. just reselling a collectors item. like i said, if he was taking mp3s and buring them to disc and then reselling, then we could report him.

There is another one and funnily enough, the pictures and text are exactly the same as the ones that came from seller m-2 in Japan (who is no longer an ebay member BTW), but this one is from a seller called sensense and also has the private bid thing on like m-2 did. Still, its not worth $165 but I wonder where this guy is getting his CDs. This must be the 10th to go on sale at least.

Umm, I pretty sure it's TheBang's macro from the very first round. Not the seller. Did you email him requesting the notification when they were for sale on Ebay? I got the same email this morning. Just figured it was him.

Got my copy today. Very happy!

In general, free market economics sucks. People will (on the whole) screw you any way they can for a valuable commodity and claim it's 'market value'. Take sports/celebrity salaries - why are they 'worth' more than your local dustman? It's just what society deems more 'valuable'.

Bring back communism I say.

I printed out the history of the purchase of the 2nd ebay yannick round - someone called interstate got 2 copies in one go, "ballaran" nabbed 2 copies separately, and "duderjw" nabbed 3 copies separately. Maybe one of these is selling on ebay @ $165?

Hmmm. Danielle at Lemonworld was handling the processing of these, and I would be very surprised indeed if they were sending out multiple copies to people when it was clearly a term of sale that it was one-per-person. But who knows? I'm only speculating, same as you. ;)

My copy arrived today and am listening to this beautiful recording in a state of sheer bliss. Many thanks to UW, esp. Danielle for all her work (it got here safely :])! Gotta feeling this won't be comin' out of the wife's car once she gets a hold of it! Cheers! You guys are the best!

I (DuderJW) can clear up the fact that I bought 3. I was in a hospital outpatients and my friend was attempting to buy from a mobile phone (a recipe for disaster in itself). He kept getting error pages after 3 separate attempts to buy. We gave up at this point and I was prepared to be diasppointed. However, when I got home and checked my email, I discovered I'd bought 3 so clearly the purchases had gone through after all.

I emailed Danielle to explain my error, said I'd just take one and she could relist the other 2 at a later date. This we agreed upon and I paid £15 for 1.

Hope that clears it up.

I've been part of rtsr and rtsrboardoftrade for several years and have absolutely no wish to screw any one over given the community spirit surrounding both them and the people on dirty.

Got mine in the second round of ebay sales, and it came weeks ago. I'd say yeah....you should be worried. ;) Probably best just to contact the seller.

I got one in the first round and it took a really long time to get it to the states because of a royal mail issue about reporting something lost - I made contact with the seller and it all turned out great. just contact the seller and I believe you'll get the information you need - no worries, they're a class act when it comes to handling these situations.
