Might be inaccurate or wrong though, as I've only heard from this through "inofficial channels". ;)

Well, ive seen two promos on ebay. one with 2x mark knight, tiefschwartz and "LP version" (which isnt LP version, but unfaded). and then another with the pig&dan instead of tiefschwartz.

would be nice to get all the tracks on CD. I've looked online and there are currently only references to vinyl releases. Even in Japan.

Ah yes, I had forgotten about 7digital.com. And with good reason. Their WMA's are DRM'd, and thus, not Mac compatible. The tracks on Beatport were DRM-free.

I just finished listening to the Javier Haedo Remixes and they are fanstatic.

Beautiful Burnout (Javier Haedo Fabric Of Dreams Main Mix) 12:19
Beautiful Burnout (Javier Haedo Holding Deep Stars In My Room Mix) 9:43
Beautiful Burnout (Javier Haedo Holding Deep Stars In My Dub Mix) 11:20

The Fabric of Dreams mix is my favorite remix of BB to date.

I've been seeing this new BB 6 track promo CD on eBay this week. According to this listing it does have both Mark Knight Mixes, the Tiefscwarz mix, the Pig&Dan remix, the "unfaded LP" mix and now a radio edit. Plus this CD seems pretty Pro compared to the other eBay promos out there. This one is coming from Greece.

im not really that impressed with these mixes to be honest and im not sure if they are bootlegs or not though they have been getting played out by DJs. I read that Sasha and Digweed played it at New Year.

Now THATS more like it. A full 6 track cd with a proper cover. This bodes well for a full non-promo release.

Re: Beautiful Burnout release date

The Javier Haedo mixes aren't great as far as remixes go. I think they are kind of bland actually.
But what I dig about the Fabric of Dreams mix is the focus. To me it really puts emphasis on the vocals, which are my favorite part of this song.

And yes, I think they may be bootlegs. But they are seeming to get a lot of play by DJs.

I hope these eBay Pro Promos lead to an official release too. Nice to have everything in one neat tidy package.

Speaking of Promos, here's a slightly older one I've never seen before:

Yeah, we had a little dust-up about that one a couple years ago:

http://www.darktrain.org/dirty/forum...3201#post43201

Turned out to be a real promo. They're the same MP3's on the CD though as the ones that we purchased for download. The whole series is too long to fit on a CDDA.

Looking forward to ordering this single (could be the nostalgia from the "Biro the Leggy" days, but ii like BB much better than Crocodile as a single anyway).
It is a pity the Underworld "What dog" remix isn't included, though.

What i want to know is, how does the Tiefscwarz Remix sound? Any good?

That is the only one I haven't heard yet. But I did shell out some dough for a Tiefscwarz BB promo on eBay. It's in the mail. Once I get it, that's the first track I'm listening to.
And I agree, I like BB more than Crocodile as a single. But that's because I am madly in love with Biro the Leggy. The first time I heard them play it, during the John Peel tribute show, it blew my mind. So wonderfully morose and beautifully simple.

That brings up a good point. Does anyone know of a link or download out there where I can find the "Keeping it Peel" tribute where UW played Biro the Leggy? I've always wanted that version.

Re: Beautiful Burnout release date

by the way...

you can get (almost) all of them on beatport now!!!!!!!!!!!!

only thing that's strange, is that when I went to buy the 5-track version (with the Mark Knight Dub), it said that the release was territory restricted. But then, when I clicked on the 4 track version - which still is on the same label (underworldlive) - it wasn't territory restricted

...now - WHY would the Mark Knight mix be non-restricted, but the Mark Knight Dub be restricted to certain regions?
