in the end there could be only one winner - a well derserved round of applause to mr stevens and his magnificent come on feel the illinoise album.
i was surprised to see bloc party do so well, not that it's not a great album, its just that it din't seem to get much attention here on dirty during the year disappointments for me was that no else voted for roots manuva, king creosote or hal but there you are and biggest surprise was hardly anyone voted for isolee after it got lots of praise during the year... |

My top albums didn;t really make the list...like Reuben, Buck 65, Death From Above 1979, Million Dead, Pete Philly and Perquisite, Every Time I Die, Dalek, Minus The Bear. Crap! But Bloc Party and LCD did..but thats obvious. EDIT: O...Reuben - Very fast very dangerous did make the list....number 43 HELL YEAH :D |
