Im shocked... but mainly its the Liverpool factor... because Owen as a player for me is simply just trying desperately to survive in a footballing world which has clearly moved on.. its a clever move by Owen the player, but he has tarnished his name as Owen the Ex-Liverpool player.

Its a pity it has to be that way too.

get in, now our season can start!
was getting increasingly worried that we would cease to exist, not a pleasant thing to contemplate.
I wouldn't wish it on anyone.....even Pompey.

woohoo!

cracking start by my squad.

who'd thought Matthew Upson would start so well.

6-1 against the Toffees - lovely stuff. I chose Arshavin - but holy hell, Fabregas is something special isn't he?

early doors and all that - it's a long season - but top stuff from the Arse.

I'm glad he missed his chances today. Hopefully he'll get injured soon.

Go Spurs! :)

Even sweeter was watching it with two of my mates who are huge Liverpool fans. And Benitez may be bleating on about penalties not given but unlike last year's win at White Hart Lane where Liverpool could feel robbed, Spurs were by far the better team yesterday and if Keane had had his shooting boots on the score would have been even bigger.

Still, I'm not getting carried away and as a seasoned Tottenham fan I fully expect us to get beaten at Hull on Wednesday...

Re: The 2009/10 season starts here

everton - shock
arsenal win shock
chelsea lucky
liverpool - poor (good!)
wigan wow
villa need barry
man city £££

its all good - ten wins no draws - nice opening day, 10 team with 3 points 10 with 0,

Everton can take consolation from spurs last season who had 1 point from 9 games or something....

bring on midweek...

To be fair we should have had 1 maybe even 2 more penalties but that would have been unjust as you rightly say. Spurs were the better team, i don't recall us having a single shot on target in the second half........although i'd sunk a few by then:eek:
