jumbo is lovely, but switch it up a bit. I love the track too, but we hear it quite often.

I never really got into Jumbo until hearing it live in NY.

it's a fantastic encore, even if they seem to do it every show.

(yeah, Luetin would have been better!)

Mmm.. I know it's played a lot, but jumbo is in my all-time-top-5-underworld tracks. It's .. brilliant. Doesn't seem to matter how many times I listen to it.

Lovely.

I like jumbo more as a closer than moaner. I just want to see something else since we've got this beautiful webcast going, but I digress, I still love the floatly feel of this track.

Thank you Underworld. This is why they are my favorite band/group. Doing stuff like this, mixing up old and new, amazing.

wow wow wow wow
kos was a little dead but other than that... amazing. my poor little G4 kept up nicely too. great sound, great video. warm memory of the visuals/atari stuff.

CANT WAIT TO DO THIS TOMORROW.
get a little dancing on.

it's the third night in the same venue, in all honesty there should be some major changes by now.
maybe some holding the moth, dirty epic, MOMOVE. oh god, did momove kill in SF. to hear a version that devastating again would set me right off.

I love this band :D

KoS was a little flat, and I think Karl was out of energy (after Kittens/Moaner/Nuxx!). It was an excellent show, and I loved the Cowgirl/Rez mixup, sounded fresh and wonderful.

oh, and Skyscraper was great! I think it's the best live version I've heard.

Loved it last night, loved it tonight and will no doubt love it tommorow!

Underworld seem to be unstoppable at the moment, plus any one noticed that since they left there major label we are all getting more music like live cd's artwork, live set streams etc it just seems they have the control to do what they want and it's the way forward!

Well, I thought the version of You do Scribble assured a purchase of the CDs for yesterday's show, but today apparently rocked quite hard. I can really only afford 1 CD from the Roundhouse gigs...I hope tomorrow is the dream set list...

inclusive of:

Glam Bucket
You Do Scribble
Rowla
Dirty Epic
Beautiful Burnout
Bamboo
...and maybe Boy, Boy, Boy as an opener?
(and others please)

Is there a place where the videos are being hosted? I've been at work both days and haven't been able to watch.

Me, Janie, Geo and m.g. just got back from the gig and as you've all been able to see, it absolutely rocked!
I wasn't so impressed with yesterdays gig but this was a lot better. Esp the first half was much more fluid and Cowgirl was just crazy.
Here's hoping tomorrow will be even crazier. I really would like to hear some more of OWB live. I think Ring Road would be great, or maybe even Boy Boy Boy (if it's gonna be the next single they should maybe start playing it sometimes :)). Maybe start with Holding The Moth??

Tonight was truly awesome. Best show for me in a long time - even to Cocoon and Lux standard, I would say. Enjoyed myself so much tonight I am still buzzing, still sat here at 2.30am with a grin on my face (even though I have to be awake in 5 hours). Sleep is a long way off yet!

Thank you for a truly memorable evening, UW :)

Re: Tonite's broadcast - London Part 2 Oct 18

The broadcast today (or yesterday, seeing as how it's 1:30AM) was solid. The version of Pearl's Girl was brilliant, with the vocal effects (it's nice to see them finally doing more to the tunes again than just re-sequencing them) and the visuals on the stream thanks to 18 year-old Dave Gamble (I think) who was only doing his second broadcast. It was sick. The version of Rez/Cowgirl/Rez/Cowgirl was solid, especially after the little Logic fuck-up at the beginning. FAR better than the first Roundhouse gig, leaving me with high hopes for tomorrow. Kittens destroyed me, and I wasn't even at the gig.

What surprised me the most was that the folk doing the stream were all 14-18 years old. I mean I knew they were going to be using students but I didn't think they were going to be using kids. They've all done a wonderful job, very impressive.

Re: Tonite's broadcast - London Part 2 Oct 18

I would guess some of the same tracks without a WHOLE slew of new stuff... my assumption is a resulting EE style live DVD where they merge the best of all three nights into one set (was EVERYONE wearing exactly the same stuff? I was enjoying the show too much to properly pay attention LOL!)... but I could be wrong...

Either way - been SO nice to see - and I'll probably enjoy part 3 tonigth before heading out to see UNKLE live... so that'll be an alright evening [smirk].

Many, many thanks for both viedo clips. Due to work I was able to only watch the first half of the first night and none of last night's show. Probably be purchasing the 2nd night for sure! Awesome set. "Kittens" is in my top three UW songs. The "flashing phalluses" were just as cool as I remember in NYC & Denver.
