Man, that's frustrating. You'd expect the early buyers to get first dibs on better seats although that's not the case. I thought briefly of splurging on a garden seat - then remembered my unexpected medical bill.

Ah well, that's the concert business.

gcoleman99, have you have any luck with selling your old pair? Most of my contacts are in the Midwest so I don't know how much interest I can drum up for LA...but I can try.

Guys, if anyone can help out gcoleman99, please speak up. We've been corresponding and I don't think he'll mind my saying that there are now three extra tickets, the original pair plus one of the terrace box 1323 seats. That's a lot for one person to get stuck with. I'm spreading the word as best I can.

So...meetup plans? gcoleman and Chris M both had some good suggestions. I'm personally more interested in food than drink but will go along with the majority vote. Won't have a car so it's cab, foot or mass transit for me. Let's decide on a time first - I could do Saturday night, Sunday daytime or Sunday dinner before the show. Thoughts?

Just tried to link with that facebook group, but I was unable to, for some reason. Cathy, I'm up for doing a dirtymeet the afternoon or evening of the show, as I am going to try to see the Dodgers vs San Fran on Sat (I grew up in LA). I plan on arriving in Hollwood on Friday, and leaving again on Mon. I've got a 4-door, so I can carry up to 3 other people (4, if my GF decides not to join us).

In the meantime, how about either a late Sunday brunch or very early dinner? I vote for Roscoe's unless someone can suggest a good spot within walking distance of the Bowl. Not sure how much time we'd need to get there, park etc. before the show starts at 7:00; I'm thinking we should probably head out by 6:00 just to be safe.

Feedback please? Would be nice to have plans settled by next weekend, especially for those of us who are traveling.

Kinda mystified about how the whole ticket sale process went... How on the day of general public sale there were zero tickets available in the Garden or Terrace Boxes - but a month later there were.

I managed to grab a box of 4 tickets in the Terrace section this past week - but am left with the 4 seats I purchased earlier...

Well, here's what I propose. Some of us may be meeting up with the group on Facebook; there's a photo gathering at 6:15, and possibly a pre-show picnic among other things. So, because that's still up in the air, why don't we plan to get together for Sunday brunch around, say 1:00 or so? Roscoe's sounds good to me, but I'm open to other suggestions.

I'm willing to take this ball and run with it, but I need to know if others agree. If you're interested, please PM me by this Saturday the 13th with the number of people attending plus any suggestions on time and place. If no one says otherwise, I'll leave it at Roscoe's at 1:00pm on the 21st.

In the meantime, I'll check into reservations, etc. and will post here to finalize everything before this Sunday evening.

Can't wait for this show. I've seen Underworld once in San Diego around Halloween. This is my first show at the Hollywood Bowl.

Parking around the Bowl really sucks, and if you're in the actual Bowl parking lot, it's even worse. If you have the opportunity, I'd walk to the show. I'm staying a block away, and planning on going to at least Roscoe's. I've got 3 seats in the back of my car, for those interested.

As of this morning I'll be serving as the band's house photographer for the gig! That said, I'd love to coordinate a Dirty group photo in front of the bowl marquee if possible. Perhaps between 6:30pm - 7ish? I'll throw a feeler out to the Facebook group as well.

Hi everyone - can't wait for the show on the 21st. I had some cancellations with our group for the show - if anyone is without tickets and wants to avoid fees, I have a couple of SuperSeats on the aisle for face value ($60) and in section E row 8 on the aisle for $43pp. Cheers!

So...ROSCOE'S! Anyone who wants to chow down before we head over to meet everybody else at the Bowl, you're invited to join us. I called and they sound pretty casual - no reservations needed, just show up at 1:00.

Cowboy took the pair in section E row 8. We had one more cancellation (THIS BETTER BE IT!) in section D row 5, also on aisle, also $43pp face (includes a group discount which makes them $24pp cheaper than Ticketmaster)

LA we are up in you...so very excited!

We have 4 tix in F3 AND two in F2
paid $47/per... willing to let them go (here) for thirty something a piece

The F3 tickets are continuous toward the front, on the inside aisle
Section SEC F3, Row 4, Seat 6, 8, 10, 12

The F2 tickets are same distance, but slightly further back, but closer to center, also on an aisle
Section SEC F2, Row 21, Seat 120 & 121

I was wondering about that too. Getting hit in the head/face with those things from a distance hurts. Also, who's gonna clean those all up after the show?

There's a whole box of 6 seats in the second row of the Garden boxes (essentially, row 5) on Ticketmaster. Doesn't get much better seating than that.
