Who do we contact to find out if our UnderworldLive.com order was shipped?

To be honest, there are certain standards regarding internet shopping these days: Confirmation pages at the time of purchase, emails after purchase, emails when an order has shipped, etc. UWLive doesn't follow all of these and it leads to semi-worried patrons. Now I accept that my order may not have shipped until launch date. Thats the price I pay for ordering direct from the artist rather than a megastore. But what I don't like is radio silence once the launch date has come and gone. Its not reassuring at all, especially in the wake of the ordering fiasco where we were all promised, "if you got a Paypal conf. then we got your order."

yes, that's quite an issue. as everybody and their mothers must know by now, i also had the same problem as you, and even if andy from digital animal confirmed that my order was placed and paid, i'm still pretty worried. spooky told me that he didn't recieve a shipping mail and it seems that everybody else that recieved their boxsets neither have.

i paid around 8quid for the shipping. don't know if i paid express shipping or something, but there's not even a tracking number. last time i ordered something as large as a boxset, it took two months (!) and it was dispatched by a truck. so then, i'm not only fearing that my order wasn't placed, i'm worried about losing it in customs too.

yeah me too, i sent an email back saying that in the long view it doesnt really matter but it's pretty annoying how they said "shipping out september 14th!!!" only to be told it'll be a week later after actually placing the order.

Hello Lovelies -

I thought it was time we posted something about the various shipping issues we're reading a bit about here.

The first thing to say is, while we do our best to keep an eye on the standards our partners adhere to around the world, you'll appreciate I'm sure there's a lot of them and only so much we can do. For example, we do know HMV in the UK had issues and that that was due to a technical error at their supplier's warehouse. We worked with HMV and the distributor to work this out as quickly as possible and it is our understanding they have now shipped their orders.

In addition, the special package is a complex piece of work in production terms - and it took a long time to put together. As a result, we were all rather later receiving stock from the factory that we had hoped.

The second thing to say is THANK YOU. We've been overwhelmed by the response to the pre-order on underworldlive.com. Our expectations were very low as we thought people would be drawn to local retailers. How wrong we were. As a result, we have (as you may have noticed) had to re-order stock a couple of times over the last few weeks and that has given us a small supply issue. As of today, all orders received by underworldlive.com on or before September 1st have been shipped. We aim to have the rest out in the postal system by Tuesday next week and beyond that anticipate most orders shipping within 2 working days.

We also acknowledge that it's not ideal that you've not been receiving "your order has been dispatched" notifications from us. We are working to address this for the future.

So that's it for now. Thank you friends - for your support and patience and general all round diry-ness.

We hope you enjoy the album, the special package and the shows....which reminds me....we have a show to put on here in London tonight. Must go open the doors :-)

Hold on... They did not say a signed art print, and that's not what I am expecting...

I think it's going to be a signed CD insert. Remember Om was offering signed CDs for initial orders.

I still think a signed Tomato art print is worth the extra cheddar and am disappointed that Om didn't have there still-non-existant bundle offers posted before the UWLive store sold out.

yeah i'm pretty much guessing here, but it seems most likely considering it's an "insert" and the signed thing OM was offering were for signed CDs. what else is going to be "inserted" in there for the early birds only if not some of the copies UWLive were selling and passed on to OM

i mean i wont be disappointed if it isnt but it's funny to see mongoose go into paroxysms like this.

My Om Records shipment arrived this morning... The box set is a beautiful thing indeed.

And yes, the signed insert is a standard CD front insert, signed by Rick and Karl. If someone would like to trade it for a numbered Tomato art print, I might consider it. :)

Still waiting for my Limited Edition Box Set + print ordered from UWLive the day it posted for sale. I received a receipt via email a while back so I'll just have to be patient. (Waiting here in NY.)

I've promised myself not to listen to the digital download until I can hold the real thing in my hands. I hope I'm not the only one holding off!

Really getting angry (slowly).

No box-set, no email, no reply. And it is not just me.

I normally would expect preordered and PREPAYED products delivered a bit earlier than the official release - not the other way round.
